Last time I watched Corrie was when Sinead was dying and only because her Onchologist was played by Raj James who was Ash Ferreria back in the day .
Then I stopped watching it !

Been a few crossovers on the soaps. Cindy was in Corrie years ago running the pub.
I don’t watch Emmerdale , but someone in that I recognized from Brookside.

I wonder how on earth Gray plans to use Ian to bring Chelsea down?? Very stupid of Kathy not to just tell Ian that Chelsea is in fact trying to help him. Surely if they are preparing an appeal he would have to know.

Didn't realise all of that about Shane Ritchie. When I was a uni student in the mid 1990s I worked in a health shop and bizarrely, his then wife Coleen Nolan worked there as well. No idea why! I didn't know who he was (I think he was doing the Daz doorstep challenge at the time) but he always seemed very self important when he came into the shop.

Corrie..gosh, I haven't watched it properly in decades apart from the odd Christmas episode. The last storyline I remember is Tracey killing her boyfriend with a sculpture lol.

Coleen Nolan has her own brand in Primark I noticed the other day.
They seemed the odd couple at the time , he ran off with a co star from stage show of ‘ Grease ‘ or something like that.
I felt sorry for her as it was all over the papers and she seems nice enough.

I’ve had the odd short-lived phase of trying to get into Corrie when ill / bored / kids were small and I was stuck indoors every night.

I think the last storyline I remember was a couple of years ago when some weird American bloke was working in the knicker factory and drugging women. Never did find out why he was doing it or how things concluded. And before that, Roy and his trans wife, both of whom I found annoying.

I just can’t warm to it. I don’t find the warm-your-cockles funny bits funny at all, and the dramatic storylines seem to go on forever and get a really silly.

I fink maybe it’s because ahhhm a Londoner! 😆 🎶

Mind you, I loved Brookside back in the day.

Have missed all the Shane Ritchie commotion. What’s he done?

Shane Ritchie has been caught drink / driving. Abusing staff on a petrol station because he was vaping. In Harlow.

Shane Richie always comes across like a bit of a pillock so I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise that it turns out he really is!

I am a Londoner I've watched Corrie since the 60s and used to love it, I preferred it to EE. But it is absolute bobbins now, I watch on and off but am in an 'off' phase at the moment.

I’m sure Shane Richie has been in trouble in the past, before he was in EE. I’ve never got the love for him.

When we moved house, we had only been to this location once to have a look at the area?

I can't stand Shane Ritchie, I hope they write him out for good. I think Alfie is probably a slightly nicer version of Shane - both the character and Shane himself seem to play on the whole "cheeky chappie" image to appear likeable.

Thinking about it , I only went to the area I’m in now twice when I moved here over 20 years ago.
I was aware of it , but took a chance on moving really.
I suppose the new family know Nicola has settled there now and maybe the mum knows the east end prior to moving to Kent , but not many people move back as it’s pricy in London to live and work.
I know it’s only for plot purposes, but it seems a lot of them are moving together.

I’ve always liked the Alfie character. I’m sure it’s easy to write him out , especially as Zoe is being written out and all manner of excuses then to go elsewhere. Not sure about Kat , but Lynne seems to be the go to there.
They may have to sell the pub , but that will be sad and I hope Stacey gets her 100,000 k back, but that’s speculation isn’t it.

Zoe's death is so sudden, it has to be an accident doesn't it? Trips over Mini Mo and falls down stairs? And then Kat cannot stand living and work in the place where beloved Zoe died. Who takes it over? Can't be Nic as they keep harping on about having no cash even for a meal out, and anyway she has the Barn. I'm still hoping for Shaz, she sold her share of the gym in two minutes flat.

I’d love Sharon back at her old home. Maybe having to live with Joel will push her into it.

What has Suki bought? No. 41? I thought she’d bought it…

Could it be a fake killing?

The producer has no interest in Zoe now, she has barely been on screen this year and they want us to forget her. And rather than writing a storyline building up to her exit, they've sent her to Lynn's. I wouldn't actually be surprised if Tommy returns and says oh by the way, Zoe was run over by a bus while we were there😆

Fake - no. What would be the point, it's already as if she barely exists anyway!

She is very much a side character. What will happen to the cat?

Lauren goes to check on Jimmy. Pet ahh is making a stack of sandwiches without any fillings that nobody seems to eat or want.
He later shows up at the cafe to speak to his mum on his own and find out where Lauren went. Who was taking care of Jimmy?
Zero chemistry with Lauren and mark. I’m not sure what he sees in her really tbh. Rita seems more flirty and fun and available just now, but coppers are generally bad news on EE, so probably best left alone!
