So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

In the real world, no WAY would a solicitor be representing someone who is taking legal action against his business partner's relative. And all Alya has to say is 'well,,, I'm not happy with it' and shrugs her shoulders...

It's a conflict of interest, and far too close to home. I'm not sure it would be allowed. Adam keeps saying 'but we need the work!' Is there NO other legal work in the whole of Manchester that isn't connected to people they know?!

Technically no. But it depends how loosely your family use terms like that I guess. I've got a niece who isn't my niece at all really. But she calls me Auntie Haddy, and i refer to her as a niece. It's an easy way of saying "we're kind of related but not"

For Jodie "Leave him alone, he's my sister's husband's sister's son" is a bit of a mouthful. So "nephew" is close enough.

He even resembles Mal doesn’t he. Same kind of greasy look. Much nicer character in Eastenders as a copper on occasions.

I agree that grubby Ross is Mal 2.0.
