So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

In the real world, no WAY would a solicitor be representing someone who is taking legal action against his business partner's relative. And all Alya has to say is 'well,,, I'm not happy with it' and shrugs her shoulders...

It's a conflict of interest, and far too close to home. I'm not sure it would be allowed. Adam keeps saying 'but we need the work!' Is there NO other legal work in the whole of Manchester that isn't connected to people they know?!

Technically no. But it depends how loosely your family use terms like that I guess. I've got a niece who isn't my niece at all really. But she calls me Auntie Haddy, and i refer to her as a niece. It's an easy way of saying "we're kind of related but not"

For Jodie "Leave him alone, he's my sister's husband's sister's son" is a bit of a mouthful. So "nephew" is close enough.

I grew up in a house like that on a terraced street - and the layout is 2 living rooms downstairs (front room could be used as additional bedroom) plus kitchen at back, and 2 bedrooms upstairs plus bathroom at back. (Some of those houses even now retain an additional toilet outside). And none of the rooms are large, to put it mildly. So it’s always puzzled me that they have so many people in the Barlow house for example. Tyrone’s is the same.

Adam’s business should be called “Conflict of Interest”. It’s all he takes on.

Adam's must be the first mobile solicitors. I don't think we've seen the office since Dee Dee left.

This irks me as corrie was started as a celebration of ordinary people in a backstreet, their common decency was integral to the show. Tony Warren talked about how he wanted to base it around the stories his mum, aunties and their friends told to each other, creating drama from every day life and showing people from those areas and beyond that their lives mattered. It managed to create characters who were far from exciting and glamorous but none the less interesting due to the way they related to people around them. Community was the core of the show, now it is about people lying, cheating and nicking from each other.

Not sure how I feel about Asha with Sienna, her new girlfriend. For a start, she's her former therapist which is a bit odd IMO, and also, she's about 40. Old enough to be Asha's mum. They can't have much in common, surely...?

And why did she rush off? Where does she have to be so urgently, and who is ringing her? I am guessing a husband, or wife......
