So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

Let's be honest, how many of us do care about yet another random boring character with a mystery background. There's a new one every week these days. 😂

Stephen stole money from Carla, Jenny and Daisy used it to buy the pub. When Carla found out she had to pay her back. She signed the pub over to Carla and Carla sold it. It wasn't sold because of poor customer levels although it is very overstaffed now.

ive never known a family business, especially in a hospitality trade, employ so many people especially for the nice shifts (day shifts that I assume Lauren is doing) when they had a cast of thousands there earlier

Ooooh, I wonder if all of this has already been filmed? Corrie is filmed 7-8 weeks before it's broadcast, and I think Celeste said she only had a few weeks to live. So we may see the Dolly Parton themed funeral.

Yes but Jenny sold it in the first place because they weren't making ends meet, then decided she wanted to buy it back.
They will surely have to add in a scene where Celeste laments Dolly's passing, it would be weird otherwise. Perhaps they have one filmed already just in case, Dolly was 80 after all. They might have to rewrite some of the scenes were she is mentioned too.

Ohh I hope they acknowledge Dolly .
It would be easy to do a quick scene with Celeste and Todd where she is feeling bad about a Dolly theme with the circumstances ...and Todd just says. No I think Dolly would be honored ..or something like that ...and then it could just carry on .
Maybe cut in some new little scenes with her and Todd I the buildup ?

Wasnt the original sale after COVID? Then she bought it so must have thought it was worth the investment, then gave it to Carla because if the stolen money, then was going to buy it again but Daisy stole her inheritance. She knew the business and if it was losing money when she bought it with Carlas money she wouldn't have wanted to use her whole inheritance to buy it. So I don't think it was losing money just struggling after COVID.

Yes, I’m getting more annoyed at Lucy in every episode. Why shout all the time? Why did she throw all the popcorn over Joanie? Why is Kit still living in Sarah’s flat with Bethany when he could just give notice to Adam and Alya?

Agree that the odd storylines being chucked in randomly are annoying! What on earth is the point of this Lucy/Richie storyline?! Lucy (as has been said by some posters and as I have said before) is a very annoying character. Her voice is awful and the acting from the girl playing Lucy is not great.
