So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

They should bring back the medical centre

No I think the medical centre still exists, we just never see it anymore.

Sarah seems to have strengthened up all of a sudden. She’s gone from weeping to Kit to get her out, to consoling him when he said he can’t be without her!

And how come Maria suddenly forgave Garrreh? I wasn’t paying attention as usual.

Did Jodie smash Theo over the head, just can't figure how Sarah will get out of this one and obvs they can't jail her for 20 years.

Kind of thinking Jodie did it despite the flash backs.

Jodie has to have a reason...being a murderer is a good one. She's keen on walloping people. Hopefully she has a Theo item in her trophy box.
I loved the medical centre especially when Dr Ali was there. Ryan's birth swap. And there was an excellent receptionist for a while. And Dr Gadass. And a nurse. Much better than the hospital.

I have been dipping into Classic Corrie , and from what I am seeing...
Ryan is her birth swap son who is very present in the episodes.

Alex (Ali ) was in it but left again. (Comes back , but I can't remember why at the moment !)

That is what confused me about Amy and Ryan being a potential couple.

Ryan and Amy were both brought up in the pub together.

I am sure Michelle and Steve would have palmed her off into Ryan to babysit as well !!

Why doesn't Sarah tell Swain it was Jodie who assaulted her? She's nothing to lose now, has she?

I think the scriptwriters are aiming for tension 😆

I did just mean it should be used more.

It is a natural community space, better than all the hospital stuff.

Some councils combine them with community centres, which would be better than one in the old butchers shop. It would be good if they had somewhere on Corrie that did various classes, little big shots, soft play etc

She has enough on her plate convincing Swain of her latest version of Theo's death.

Ryan - who was involved in the acid attack - (who is in Corrie now,) is the son Michelle brought up, who turned out to not be her biological son. The boy who turned out to be her 'biological' son was called Alex if I recall correctly. I think Alex comes back into Corrie at some point, as a young adult. Not for very long though. Maybe a year and a half. I think Alex and Ryan may be in it at the same time for that period of time.

I don't think Jodie had anything to do with Theo. She did hit Sarah over the head though. Sarah came to the Platts house - after she hit Theo and he ended up falling off the scaffolding - and Jodie was there (at the Platts house.) I don't know why she hit Sarah, maybe she thought she was an intruder. Has this been explained yet? I miss bits sometimes too. 😆

@zanahoria I agree it would be nice to see the medical centre featured a bit more again.

I was a bit disappointed in Maria.

After a while episode of stomping around in her fan ankles boots, giving everyone both barrels she just caved on to Gary.

She was right in the first place. He risked their whole family for another woman and what was his nonsense about doing it for any of his friends. He is talking about covering up a killing not lending them his power tools.

Agree about Maria also @zanahoria Gary didn't treat her very well, he DID risk his family, his marriage, his freedom - everything - for Sarah, when what happened was nothing to do with him.

I don't think I could ever have come back from this if my husband had done this. Defending another woman so fiercely, and leaving me out of it completely, making me feel like I was going out of my mind, risking his freedom, his life, his marriage, everything... And no, I strongly suspect that he wouldn't have done it for any of his other friends... And especially not his male friends... He's one of these men who just HAS to help maidens in distress, and defenceless little women. 🙄 Nothing worse than a bloody white knight.

Was it that Sarah came across Jodie's box of 'treasures' and was just about to open it? An unlikely thing for someone to do when they'd just killed someone but I might be misremembering.

I agree about Lauren lifting Betsy, but also marvelled at the sign on the hospital wall in the background throughout that scene… I can’t remember the exact wording but it was all about “don’t get up, buzz for help”… the irony!

LOL so true. She does like to play the helpless little woman. 🙄

Oh I can't remember! has anyone actually discovered it yet? I am getting a memory popping up in my head of someone finding it, but was it Sarah?

My granddaughter would definitely have found an interesting box under a sofa. The Platts are unobservant.
Ryan and Alex who came back as a doctor were there together and thought they were brothers. I suppose it was an easier thing to call each other.

They must do as much 'proper' vacuuming as I do
