So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

I think it was Roy we saw with the phone in his cell. When he was accused of killing Lauren. Maybe its just people who are on remand, awaiting trial that get phones. Innocent until proven guilty.

Phones are available quite freely if on remand. Once sentenced, that’s a privilege taken away.

I liked the scene in the shop with Ronnie and Dylan. Ronnie’s a good man, not a good thing in the street! Sally was funny too.

Yes I think it was Bethany looking at her a bit horrified and then you see Sarah's face. Better that way, staged fights rarely look convincing, sometimes our imaginations are better.

He seems to have taken on some responsibility for Harry which is a positive thing as he hasn't been in his life for long. As my GS, in his 20s, said when his baby cousin was born nothing impressed the girls as much as a big bloke looking after a baby. Harry's a bit older but I suppose the principle applies.

GS made sure there were lots of photos of him with baby cousin on his social media.

The murder investigation makes me laugh. I've worked on murder incident rooms, they aren't manned by one DS and one other officer. In my experience they weren't run from the normal CID office. I suppose we all notice bits relevant to our own experience.
