So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

Looks like Steve saw Cassie driving off with Ross. Which could be interesting as Ross said to Tyrone he didn't realise she'd left so hopefully his lie will be uncovered soon. Agree that Fizz looks unconvinced about Ross.

I hope not. Corrie need to concentrate on one storyline at a time and get them right like Betsy and the stroke, not go straight into another straight away

Jodie and .....whatever that is all about.
Sam and his recent devastating diagnosis
Brady beating people up for money.
Christina and her spending addiction.
Ross, who has appeared from nowhere with no apparent family. friends, job, home etc.
Poor Betsy and sexual strangulation.
Debbie and her dementia road with possible assisted dying being brought into the mix.
Sienna and her Mum with dementia.
Slum landlord.
Gary and his ongoing involvement with Theo's murder
etc etc
I need a spreadsheet to keep up with it all!

Most normal people would drop Ross very swiftly after discovering his history , but Tracy and the others seemed to shrug it all off and believe him ! It’s such odd behavior isn’t it.
I really hope that he drops the photo at Fizz’s feet and she does some detective work to find out where Cassie is.

No, Ryan isn’t related to Betsy and Lisa. Carla is his auntie but if we are being accurate, Carla isn’t his auntie because of Alex and Ryan being swapped at birth but I don’t think they care. They have a lovely relationship and it all works

The scene with Asha's new is she/isn't she girlfriend and her mother wasn't very well done. I would imagine if she is an ambulance driver she'd have some idea how to deal with dementia patients and being shouty and loud isn't it. I know they were trying to make it dramatic to show Debbie what might be to come for her but I think it was overdone.

Yes, Ryan is lovely and he deserves something good to happen to him

I disagree. Yes she’d have knowledge and know how to react in the context of her job role, but actually living with it 24/7 and the emotional bonds that come with mother and daughter, make it a very different, difficult situation altogether. I think it was odd it came out of nowhere, that was quite bizarre.

@Change2banon I did have it is probably different when dealing with family members when I was first writing my post but took that out but I take your point, I should have left it in.

I think the fact that it came out of nowhere just shows what Corrie's like nowadays. We've had a couple of scenes of her rushing off when her phone goes and then there was the full blown, dramatic and distressing scene for Debbie to witness and make life decisions on. Clunky.

There are too many stories on the go atm.
It is hard to keep up with a lot of them.

I remember Corrie used to be full of humour but last night I sobbed all the way through with Poor Betsy and Poor Sienna and her mum. Also speak up Fizz if you’ve got any doubts or concerns you’ve got 2 young daughters and hope is the exact age that Cassie was when that beast took advantage of her. Tyrone also seems to have totally forgotten about Jackie. If a women showed up now claiming to be my bio mum I run her out the place. I only have one mum.

Adam and Alya live together and work together

Even without his history, they don't really know him but the kids sing Happy birthday Granddad and he takes them out for burgers. Tyrone wants him getting a job near by and moving in with Tracy

I thought Ross wanted to permanently silence Cassie so would have killed her but yet another murder on the street would be going too far with Theo's death still being dealt with. Therefore while this sounds awful I hope he's just beaten her up to scare ger into silence 🫤 but he told her he'd killer her just a few days ago if she caused any more trouble. 😠

I dont think pigwig killed cassie, but he probably roughed her up with a warning not to ever come back. I reckon he probably went through her bag too, and her took her phone and the envelope with the money and photo. Hopefully Fizz will keep an eye on those girls, she is definitely suspicious of him.

I still do not get why they have to have these ridiculous and horrible characters showing up and taking centre stage. There is an endless supply of them Theo, Mal, Jodie, Megan, Carl, now Ross.

Yet regular characters like Gemma, Brian, Mary, Kirk are reduced to being tedious one trick ponies. Even the ones who aren't comedy characters rarely get much development. Nina came in as an interesting young woman who liked liked art, fashion and music but has done nothing but flit around the cafe for years and now is batty weirdo who accuses people of nicking her money.
