Janine as a character is tired and I’m tired of Wadey bringing back characters.

Yolande is far too old ! Lol
Patrick has been away for ages in Scotland
at least he has avoided the heatwave , although it seems to have avoided the square altogether going by their clothes.

I like Janine , but why come back unless she wants to dump Mick’s child on Linda or even Kat !
I hope she leaves Clive alone.
I hope she comes back with money , that’ll wind up everyone! Especially as she was in prison.

Was wondering if maybe Chelsea gets some compensation for Jordan’s injuries and buys out the club ? Someone else suggested this ages ago on here and may explain the Chelsea / Nicola feud? Or the great nan dies and leaves her money to Jordan ?
He already has jumpers money that she doesn’t seem to remember or mention

It does look as if Chelsea ‘saves’ Ian, although I doubt her opinion would carry that much weight. I suppose Ian will end up with community service. Yet another storyline that went nowhere. So many storylines run down a cul de sac and grind to a halt, no doubt the same with happen with Gray.

@Southeastdweller I completely agree about Janine. She is old news, there is no reason to bring her back, the producer is just obsessed with these guest stints. But thank goodness it’s just a couple of episodes.

Once Ian is sweeping the streets for one episode with community service , I
bet Jordan gets up and walks up to him or something like that. Just as Janine and her child are piling out of a cab. I can’t remember if she had a boy or girl ?

I think Chelsea does tell the court she shouted at Jordan. I'm not sure what the outcome is for Ian, but I think Sheila is in the court and she relays the information to Gray. Absolutely nothing there I want to watch.
I'm another that's not excited about Janine's return, she is such a predictable, one dimensional character.
The cameos were great during the 40th year but they are boring now, too many in and out. It's being used as filler.

Gosh I agree with everything you’ve said. This week is set to be a boring week by the sounds of it. I really thought it was going to get good after last week, and even the end of the week before but no.

We need some more new fresh characters like Oscar- not the twins. The literal only good returns have been Cindy (but that was a slow burn) and Max. I’ll include Lauren there too because without her we wouldn’t have the scenes we do from Max and Oscar.

I like them using the teens more; that’s so fricking refreshing.

Just read that Jason Durr was filming this week so we’ll see him until at least the beginning of September.

Next week Nicola talks to George about her past so maybe this is a sign of a family member of hers coming into the show and she mentioned her sisters a few months ago.

Agree the Janine character is tired. Absolutely no point in that.

I'd rather have Janine than Grant galumphing about though.
Will she remember she has a daughter (Scarlett) her child with Mick , her daughters horse (Pat)

Will she see Tommy or is he still away with Zoe

Will Sharon get fined for taking Albie out of school ?

Gray , another hypocrite! Mummy got a bit short with his son yet he has murdered three people ( so a serial killer ) yet she is the ‘bad ‘ mum ! You couldn’t make it up eh ! ( well, someone has to!)
His bound to snort a lot and show his teeth I suppose

Pat the horse was last seen put out to grass ! Hopefully with owners who actually care!

Don’t mind Janine , but where will she live ?
She’ll have a go at Linda and upset her and E’laine I guess. It’s a wonder she wants to return really !

Have they done a "My child needs an organ from a relative" story yet ? If it's Mick and Janines son , it needs to be Ollie or, Sausage, ( because Lee ans Nancy are not here ) and Annie is Max's not Micks .

I know Emmerdale did with Sarah .

Maybe she'll move into the Peacock Palace to begin with but complain non-stop (wallpaper would give anyone a migraine)

She is sowing the seeds. They need another family.
I can understand why Chelsea would try help Ian. Her hands weren’t clean in the mess either.
Dreading the Zoe storyline but looking forward to Ravi and Cindy getting the info on Priya and Max.

Didn’t Ruby’s son need a kidney or something? Martin got involved with that ?
Knowing Janine , she’ll probably want Linda to sell one of hers for cash ! ‘ it’s my right ‘ or some such rubbish.

Maybe Janine murders Zoe! ..

No, Chelsea was to blame a bit for her son running off, but Ian still backed up the car , didn’t notice him and didn’t even have to drive home , he could have propped up his mum for a ten minute walk home! lol
What she did was nothing compared to his dad, but she feels bad and has a conscience, so will probably get Ian off. I guess you would feel guilty though.

She should sue him, hit him where it really hurts. Take his businesss.
What ever happened to Scarlett? I don’t think Mick’s body was ever found.

Scarlett went to live with Ricky in Germany.
linda was going to adopt micks child , but she didn’t in the end. Not sure why

Mick drowned. They found his wallet intact but not him.

Ian has a few businesses. You rarely see him in any of them !

No way would Linda let Janine move into the Peacock palace. Even if J uses the child as leverage !..
