So the 'Who Killed Theo' saga carries on. I think we should find out who it is soon... Fit Kit and Swain are on the case still. (For what its worth!) 😆

Poor Sam has been sectioned, and is quite unwell, and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Gary and Sarah are in cahoots about something, (related to Theo's death, I think.) Oh, and Maria thinks they're having an affair.

Some random lads are chasing and threatening Brodeh. Who knows why!

Ma Driscoll has been quiet for a while.

Will is still sneakily staying in touch with Megan Trainer!

Alya's cousin Idris (who has never been mentioned before AFAIK) has appeared on the street, and has been seeing Leanne.

Carl, Kevin, and dishy Ronnie have buried the hatchet (for now! Hopefully it lasts!)

And what is Jodie going to do with Carl's gun?!

Why on earth didn't Sarah call Kit and he'd have covered it up for her, it was self defence, she knew he was dangerous and violent, he'd threatened to kill her and she had good reason to believe he could and would.

No point being shacked up with the local neighbourhood bent cop if you are not going to make use of him

Sarah has already gone down this route of covering up a killing when it would be easier to plead self defence.

Her nephew and his girlfriend went down that route too

Surely if you were Gary/Sarah, you’d just say “It’s a fair cop, we’ve been banging away for months” to deflect attention.

Many years ago, when I was young and not very worldly wise and still a smoker but supposed to have given up, there was a party going on and I went outside with another guy in the same 'quitted' situation for a sly puff. I said to him "If we get caught we can just say we're having an affair" and laughed to confirm I was joking, which I thought was quite obvious but he said "I'm quite happy with Julie". Oh dear

I think Kit will eventually realise it isn't Gary so it must be Sarah, and keep quiet about it. It isn't as if Swain will ever click to it, Kit is not averse to a cover up, and in terms of soap justice it was self defence so she doesn't need jail time.

I thought you meant David and Kylie with the whole Body Under the Patio story, but of course you meant Max and Lauren.

I enjoyed it, in a didn’t take it seriously kind of way. It had a dark Netflix dinner party vibe, which made me laugh.

Both Sarah and Maria are very pretty.

The only thing that really grated was the room that Sam was in, so unlike a room for sectioned patients. There were wires from the fan, not allowed. Ornaments, loads of glass…no lock on the door, Roy just walked in . It was beyond daft. I had to have my bag searched, no plastic bags, relative couldn’t even have a spray deodorant, it had to be roll on. Sorry script writers, but a few MH posters and cutesy sayings on the wall do not a realistic psych unit make.

Wasn’t there a flash forward to blood on the dinner table? And wasn’t Sarah creeping up behind Gary as he went to tell Kit? Perhaps she’s going to have a go at him too?

The whole episode annoyed me. Particularly the Traitors round table pastiche. Including the dramatic slow-mo cover version music. I miss the days when Corrie was normal.

Same. Either I live in a very different world to Sarah etc, but I've never got that dressed up to have dinner at home/a friends house, or had place settings. It just didn't feel real.

I can't work out where Sam is. Is there a psychiatric wing at Whethy general? Is he in a specialist unit? Is it adolescent or all ages?
Regarding Roy just walking in, he might have been admitted through the locked doors and reached the open part. The MH hospital I worked in had locked doors to get in. We could lock them so you can't get out if needed, but we rarely needed to. But once inside all communal patient areas were open. But it wasn't classed as secure unit and was for long term patients not newly diagnosed.

Its a fabulous hospital. They are lucky to have it. Primary care seems to have vanished but Ambulance Asha overcomes that issue.

Sarah’s dress was reveling, but she is very attractive and carried it off. It was a bit much for an indoors dinner party though. Whoever is doing the music and the general ambiance must have free artistic licence to do what they like.

Nope this is Corrie and they like to get serious storylines across. Not saying they are but the fact that we have seen her getting drunk a lot makes me wonder that’s all
