So the 'Who Killed Theo' saga carries on. I think we should find out who it is soon... Fit Kit and Swain are on the case still. (For what its worth!) 😆

Poor Sam has been sectioned, and is quite unwell, and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Gary and Sarah are in cahoots about something, (related to Theo's death, I think.) Oh, and Maria thinks they're having an affair.

Some random lads are chasing and threatening Brodeh. Who knows why!

Ma Driscoll has been quiet for a while.

Will is still sneakily staying in touch with Megan Trainer!

Alya's cousin Idris (who has never been mentioned before AFAIK) has appeared on the street, and has been seeing Leanne.

Carl, Kevin, and dishy Ronnie have buried the hatchet (for now! Hopefully it lasts!)

And what is Jodie going to do with Carl's gun?!

Sorry if I've missed anything!

Why are they painting the flat that is a murder scene in an ongoing investigation?

I did mean both.

They are always killing people in self defence then covering it up

I always say this to my DH. If you kill somebody in self-defence or a struggle or an accident surely the first thing you’d do is call 999 and try and get them help. You wouldn’t say “Oh bugger, I’d better bundle this body into the boot of my car and dump it in the canal”, before burning your clothes and scrubbing your house with Domestos. Only on TV!

Nope this is Corrie and they like to get serious storylines across. Not saying they are but the fact that we have seen her getting drunk a lot makes me wonder that’s all

Oh I am sure you are right.

I just wish they could balance it and make it a bit of a problem at the getting drunk and doing stupid things level rather than "oh no, Summer is an alcoholic"

eggandonion · 23/06/2026 23:53

Asha will have to sort out Summer. The mental health unit fixed Asha. It is an excellent facility indeed.
I wish they would all stop bumping people off.

and then meet up with your not so secret accomplice every bloody day to discuss the details

And hug them in broad daylight at every given opportunity jeez

Summer has diabetes. She shouldn’t be drinking so much.

Well they seem to have forgotten Carla and her life saving kidney transplant who necks the red vino like it’s going out of fashion!

Spidey66 · 24/06/2026 07:53

Tracys transplant has also been forgotten, as well as Jack's artificial leg. No limp, and wouldn't he have to have it replaced as he got taller?

Soaps would grind to a halt without that storyline!

Shellingbynight · 24/06/2026 08:07

What was all that hugging about, given Gary seems really pissed off with Sarah about it all. It was all so contrived.

So Kit doesn’t think they are having an affair, he thinks Gary killed Theo. He is not terminally dim so he will realise at some point that it was Sarah, and keep it quiet.

I liked yesterday's interactions with David and Summer, and Tim and Will. They were more like normal people do actually interact.

It isn't surprising Summer is getting drunk at every opportunity after what's happening in the last two years. At least they are bothering to show the effect it has had, unlike some characters (hello Lauren) who get over life's trials in a fortnight.

eggandonion · 24/06/2026 08:46

I think Asha warned Summer to ease up and she said she would test her sugar levels?

She did but I don’t think Summer checked her levels, just drank more and I’m not sure I’d want a flat where a murder happened. Asha and Nina know what happened

thenightsky · 24/06/2026 10:24

Just catching up on Monday and last night. Since when did Sarah have a massive dining table in that dark poky flat?

It didn’t happen there though, he fell off the scaffolding outside, it’s not like there was any blood or a dead body in the flat..

Shellingbynight · 24/06/2026 11:31

I was thinking the same, the kerfuffle and death happened outside.

I thought Summer was upset because the flat was place where Todd was abused for so long. Asha and Nina wouldn't be too bothered about it.

JewelleryCat · 24/06/2026 11:55

Inside or outside, still a no from me. I’d probably be haunted by Theo!

LesserSpottedCharacter · 24/06/2026 12:11

Has there been any explanation, or even suggestion, as to why the scaffolding was there in the first place? It has gone now, hasn't it? Who took it down? Did Theo have any workmates in his one man scaffolding band? How does one man achieve scaffolding??

Here endeth my scaffolding thoughts for the day 🥱

RockinCara · 24/06/2026 12:14

Wasn’t it the roof

eggandonion · 24/06/2026 13:17

Dev doesn't seem at all interested in what went on. Nina is goth enough not to worry about murder. Asha is logical and used to bodies. And wants to move away from Bernie. I would!

thenightsky · 24/06/2026 13:21

RockinCara · 24/06/2026 12:14

Wasn’t it the roof

The scaffold platform was roof level. Sarah climbed out of the window on a lower level then when up some steps to roof level where Theo was sat drinking.

TipsyPeachSnake · 24/06/2026 15:46

I thought the scaffold belonged to Gary. Didn’t Theo pass comment on it to Gary about how he could could’ve got better? Anyway that would mean Gary put it up and took it down. I really don’t need to know why. Don’t need the ins and outs of every job he does. Scaffolding on a street is non event and not unusual, particularly when there are at least three builders in close proximity.

But if you didn’t want to live in a house where a murder happened that rules out half the Street!

Good job I don’t live there then! I can’t even live where Audrey used to live

Deadringer · 25/06/2026 17:52

Death by scaffold seems appropriate for Theo.

Housewife2010 · 25/06/2026 22:00

Why was Sarah dressed up tonight like Daphne from Scooby Doo?
