So the 'Who Killed Theo' saga carries on. I think we should find out who it is soon... Fit Kit and Swain are on the case still. (For what its worth!) 😆

Poor Sam has been sectioned, and is quite unwell, and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Gary and Sarah are in cahoots about something, (related to Theo's death, I think.) Oh, and Maria thinks they're having an affair.

Some random lads are chasing and threatening Brodeh. Who knows why!

Ma Driscoll has been quiet for a while.

Will is still sneakily staying in touch with Megan Trainer!

Alya's cousin Idris (who has never been mentioned before AFAIK) has appeared on the street, and has been seeing Leanne.

Carl, Kevin, and dishy Ronnie have buried the hatchet (for now! Hopefully it lasts!)

And what is Jodie going to do with Carl's gun?!

Tonight's was good IMO. Poor Debbie. 😢It must be heartbreaking knowing you are losing yourself, and your brain is failing you, and there's nothing you can do about it. I did cringe though when she gave away the gender just before the gender reveal party! 😱 (Having said that, I hate gender reveal parties! JMO though.) I wonder if Debbie really did order Lilies from Tracy? I don't think Tracy would lie..... would she? Tracy was right though that Debbie really shouldn't be doing the job now.

Sam seems to be coming to terms with what's happening to him. 'I'm not going to Science Camp am I dad? he said to Nick. Can't believe how I've warmed up to Sam after really not liking the character for so long!

Gary and Sarah could not be making it more obvious (that something is going on between them) if they tried! Maria thinks they are having an affair? I wonder how Maria is going to 'prove it.' Also LOLd at Jake asking his dad to shave his beard off. Sarah blowing smoke up Maria's arse was cringey. 'Oooh, Maria, your hair looks nice.' As Maria said, it's so obvious something is up.

@zanahoria I agree. A well crafted Whodunnit is great when it's done properly. This 'Who Killed Theo' thing is no 'Who Shot JR' is it?!

Debbie is great, but I think her decline is being accelerated for the viewers. Maybe some people do go downhill that fast, but I thought it was usually much slower.
I like the comments on Carla and Lisa's clothes. I hate how Lisa dresses.

The Debbie stuff is just a long reminder of how stupid they are for doing this to their best character.

I hope we do find out next week who the killer is. Just to get to the end of this tedious, drawn out storyline that no one seems to care about anyway.

I have seen trailers for next week's Corrie, usually when whizzing through adverts on recordings, so I don't know what is coming up.

I don't watch Emmerdale, but Ive also seen trailers for it for next week.

I wondered if they were going to loosely tie the two soaps together again, and reveal the big (boring) secret about Jodie. And hopefully see her fading into the distance.

It certainly felt like my froend deteriorated even quicker than Debbie. But as she died from a different health issue is hard to be sure if she really did.

Why did Jodie take the gun? Will she try to get revenge on someone with it, or just another of her token steals that make no sense. It must be in David’s house.

Sam would not be diagnosed with schizophrenia at this point. It's First Episode of Psychosis. It could pan out to be schizophrenia but it's too early to tell.

I'm glad it's summer and we'll get a break from Lisa's jumper-tucked-into-trousers look. Last time I saw that was on a couple of the younger, trendier teachers at secondary school and that was over 30 years ago.

Watched last nights episode. Debbie was great.

The Sam stuff is an insult to us living in the real world supporting a loved one who has suffered from similar. What takes months in the real world, I.e. correct medication, possibly diagnosis takes hours on Corrie, No other patients around, no alarms going off every ten minutes, no stressed NHS workers, just healthy looking Sam, a psychiatric doctor who has all the time in the world to treat her one patient. If it wasn’t so insulting to patients and families who have experienced the stark reality, it would be laughable,

In my experience a psychiatric hospital is a noisy, chaotic, frightening place to be, no sign of any of that where Sam is.

Not a spoiler but I'm suspecting Liam as Theo's murderer, Gary and Sarah know and are trying to protect him and Maria. I don't know why Liam would have had any reason though.

I’m sorry @Middlemarch123. I wonder who Corrie talked too for this storyline because it’s making a mockery of what people like you and Daisy are living through

My relative was attacked in a psychiatric ward. I don’t want to derail a new thread, last thing I want. but this story line is so far from reality it’s implausible. Like I said on previous thread, they couldn’t show it as it really is. Thank you for understanding @JewelleryCat And hugs to @DaisyStarburst x

I’m also really frustrated with the portrayal of psychiatric institutions. I’ve been sectioned several times and the reality is very different.

Soaps don’t really seem to getting very big storylines right like this with Sam or Cains cancer in Emmerdale and I’m very sorry to hear about your relative @Middlemarch123

I’m not defending the storyline but are protocols (sorry if not the right word) different if you’re a child like Same to if you’re an adult?
