Joao and Jakub are starting- I think the commentators are leaning towards Fonseca , but Mensik is a tough opponent.

Whoever gets through- both have been beaten this year, on clay, by Sascha. Mensik, in Madrid, and Fonseca in Monte Carlo.

Mensik has been quickest out of the blocks- and that will disappoint the commentators and the studio lot- who aren't really hiding that they are more than a bit biased towards Joao.

Having said that, Joao has just got a break back. Plus- I though Jodar was on track for the first set earlier- and I got that one wrong

What did we do to deserve Mac on commentary?

I do not know- he's been doing a fair bit.
It would be ok if he could pronounce names.

They really do look knackered- I think the lack of experience in 5 set matches is showing in the younger players by this stage. The stamina will come, with time.
