Just catching up on the scores - I’m a bit surprised it was Marta who got through rather than Elina, but maybe I shouldn’t be as she has been playing so well lately. Unfortunately it means we have a rerun of the Madrid final which was not very nice for Mirra. At least as this is a semi final the loser doesn’t have to hang around listening to the winner interview. Fingers crossed Mirra wins this time (nothing against Marta, she seems very nice, I would just really love to see Mirra get to her first slam final!

It's a shame Rafa didn't win the first set when he had the advantage- it's not been going his way since.

This is all slipping away for NuRafa now. It's a shame he couldn't hold on to that break in the first set, at least make it competitive.

This does look like a match too far, for NuRafa- but he's done really well to get so far in his first year. I didn't know if he would have the stamina for 5set matches, but he's not badly.
