Well done Mirra.

JaneJeffer · Yesterday 12:32

This is a turnaround

The Ukrainian derby is a really good match. Marta is up a break in the third but I still feel like Elina might be the one to come through.

JaneJeffer · Yesterday 13:14

Marta seems to have the edge now

Well done Marta. Really impressive level from her.

JaneJeffer · Yesterday 13:21

Aww her doggy

Raahh · Yesterday 13:24

I missed the Marta/Elina match- I am pleased for Marta.

But I do hope Mirra wins the semi final.

And there's her dog.

Another reason not to like Rachel- she didn't seem to like all the players with their dogs in the stadium. So that's a reason not to trust her Grin.

I wish the Rafa/Sascha match was the second one, because I can only really watch the first hour-ish.

JaneJeffer · Yesterday 13:43

Every time I see this umpire I think of her spying on the Tsitsipas family Grin

I have to go out for a while

Good start for Rafa.

Raahh · Yesterday 14:36

Shame he lost the break- Vamos Rafa!

I have to go out...

ChessieFL · Yesterday 15:16

Just catching up on the scores - I’m a bit surprised it was Marta who got through rather than Elina, but maybe I shouldn’t be as she has been playing so well lately. Unfortunately it means we have a rerun of the Madrid final which was not very nice for Mirra. At least as this is a semi final the loser doesn’t have to hang around listening to the winner interview. Fingers crossed Mirra wins this time (nothing against Marta, she seems very nice, I would just really love to see Mirra get to her first slam final!

Raahh · Yesterday 15:25

It's a shame Rafa didn't win the first set when he had the advantage- it's not been going his way since.

IceandIndigo · Yesterday 15:25

This is all slipping away for NuRafa now. It's a shame he couldn't hold on to that break in the first set, at least make it competitive.

Fizzywinegum · Yesterday 15:37

yes it does look as if it’s slipping away from NuRafa - coming back from 2 sets down has been a bit of a theme at this RG but can’t really see it happening this time

Raahh · Yesterday 16:15

This does look like a match too far, for NuRafa- but he's done really well to get so far in his first year. I didn't know if he would have the stamina for 5set matches, but he's not badly.

Well done Sascha- but it won't be the last we see of NuRafa .

JaneJeffer · Yesterday 16:17

Well done Sascha. Great match point!

NuRafa looks exhausted

Raahh · Yesterday 16:20

Ha! They have hail stones Grin

JaneJeffer · Yesterday 16:21

Wow the weather! Jim seems terrified of hailstones Grin

Did anyone see Flávio’s post march interview yesterday? I saw that there was an apology on the TV for offensive language but wasn’t sure what he’d said - apparently he said that he was so nervous that he shat on his pants Grin - bit TMI there Flávio!
