And 2020 so 6yrs I kinda rem this couple

I don’t remember either of these couples so it was a good watch. Loved both of these properties they ended up with, especially the chalet bungalow. That’s exactly the sort of house I’d like.

His business grew very well too!

I too loved the Derby couple’s forever home.
When you think where they were going to buy - with the dilapidated sheds which at the time they were gutted that the deal didn’t go through- to where they ended up. ❤️

Things we learned from last nights catch up episode:

1. everything we watched on telly 20 years ago was a tiny bit blurry
2. there’s a lot of money in what I consider to be irredeemably naff photo sessions

I actually looked up the photography business (yes I’m nosey) and they charge up to £500 for photo packages 😱.

Not sure how the neighbours feel about all the musical instruments in that flat!

Not so keen on the young couples flat - it’s way smaller than the houses they looked at and that second bedroom is crowded. It’s one of those Warner flats I think and it’s a trendy area I guess. She looks very different! Thought it was a different person at first.
Loved the house the other couple were shown in Worcester Park with the studio garden but their Crystal Palace house was nice too.

I thought the flat looked very small and cluttered. Not sure where they are going to have space for a baby/ child. And sorry but the bathroom tiling was utterly hideous!

I thought the flat the musician couple bought, compared to the one they loved and lost out on, were like chalk and cheese.
The one they loved was white, bright and quite minimalist whereas the one they bought was dark and so cluttered.
I didn’t like their orange door.
But I was glad they got something they loved.
I was hoping we’d get an update on the baby.
I’m glad too that the other couple got somewhere they loved too

I was shocked at the prices of the properties tey were being shown, then found they were 2007 prices, interesting to see families' development over almost 20 years.

I enjoy a catch up and once again, I didn't remember either couple. I hated what the older couple did to their garden. And I agree that the bright, white flat the younger couple loved and lost was a world away from from the cramped, cluttered space they ended up in. Also, did I understand correctly that they had half the garden, divided by the path? What an unsatisfactory arrangement - no one really has their own space.

Yes, it was a weird garden arrangement. I doubt they’d make much money on that flat to move upwards either unfortunately.

Does it seem to be a new thing that sometimes when they go back to revisit and they've had a baby, they only show the side of the baby's head/make sure that they aren't fully seen? Like with the Edinburgh couple. I do understand not wanting your child on TV but it does feel like a shame. I always love seeing how the young couples have moved on and had a family and (I guess I'm nosey) it just gives me a warm feeling seeing them thriving as a family. Seems a shame just to see the back of their head. I don't think they used to do this.

No they don't usually do it. It'll be because the family didn't want him shown though won't it
