Yah. It’s back. I loved s1 and the Xmas special (tho many didn’t) but it ticked all the right buts with me

I know Many will binge as all will be on iPlayer - so as usual this is the weekly paced thread and no spoilers please 🥰

I say often, I wish they wouldn’t have all on itvx/iPlayer till it finishes

programme like line of duty and happy valley were so good as had to watch weekly

I like this but it’s not as good as Motherland. But still passes the time.

We shall watch this , really didn’t enjoy the Christmas special , not because I didn’t get it , I just didn’t find it funny

Love it! Lucy Punch is so funny and so is the actress who plays Anne. If no one knows the actor behind Darius, he’s had a bad start in life but seems to be turning it round now, with this role.

I agree, it was below par. Like the writers couldn't be bothered. Also thought the casting of Jennifer Saunders was lazy and boring, and the different location didn’t work.

@fundamentallyauthentic, Jennifer Saunders has got a BAFTA Tv best actress in a comedy nomination for her role along with Lucy Punch and Philippa Dunne in the same category, BAFTA loved her performance!

@hockeyfun Yes, I know this. BAFTA have always liked JS. Good to see the other two finally getting recognition.

I will watch ..I watched the first one and I liked it
But I was disappointed, because I was expecting it to be as good as motherland,and it wasn't.
But motherland was so good , nothing comes close
So it's something to watch
But I wish they would do another series of motherland ,I don't understand why they stopped it

They could do another Motherland but it’d have to be without Anne and Amanda as they’ve moved to SoHa. Or is it NoHa? Would be good to see the kids as teens though and I’m sure they could replace Anne and Amanda if they wanted to.

I think I just find Julia too annoying!
