Yah. It’s back. I loved s1 and the Xmas special (tho many didn’t) but it ticked all the right buts with me

You don’t think “mummy I spent two days sleeping on the floor whilst you were in hospital” is redeeming? There’s lots of things like that that aren’t part of the week’s plot. She’s on the make, and Amandaland is a lot more farce and physical humour (loved the hair flick into Fi’s face) than Motherland and I think it’s really funny. Yes the taking the key, going through her stuff, buying her gifts l, being horrid to her cat, bringing a builder over was unbelievable and cringey! Loved Garry making a comeback.

He was the builder in Motherland that Julia had the big crush on! One of the last episodes.

Series 3 Motherland, Julia is in love with him! He’s making her house more accessible for her mum.
