Yah. It’s back. I loved s1 and the Xmas special (tho many didn’t) but it ticked all the right buts with me

I know Many will binge as all will be on iPlayer - so as usual this is the weekly paced thread and no spoilers please 🥰

I was good and only watched 2 episodes tonight. I’ll try and pace it out!

Loved Motherland and love Amandaland, I actually really liked the Christmas special, I actually laughed out loud at one point and I don’t normally do that

We watched it in my house and laughed a lot. I thought it was a strong start.

I’m excited too! Just haven’t had time to watch it.

I binged all 6 episodes last night, cringed and laughed, it was good fun

I liked it but agree it’s nowhere near as good as Motherland - it doesn’t have the pathos or the subtle darkness Motherland had

I agree. I also think now that Amanda has mellowed, post divorce, it makes for a less funny show.

And I miss Kevin, Julia, and Liz.

Loved it and ended watching them all! It was really funny

It’s def not motherland but it’s better than nothing and I do find it funny

1st episode not as good as series 1 but I still enjoyed it. I loved Amandaland just as much as motherland. Amanda turning into a bit of a David Brent parody though!

I enjoyed it, loved Motherland and have re watched it a couple of times but I also enjoy this and think the cast work well together.

I find Anne annoying and Kevin was awful, both were funny a few times then the characters were totally over-egged, I liked Julia though. Amanda can feature alone, I loved her character, I know someone like this IRL so it makes it so much more enjoyable.
