We're well into Spring 2026 now. CORONATION STREET THREAD. **No spoilers please.**

Can't believe we're on a new thread already. Filling up so fast these days!

Brief summary:

Todd has finally left the dreadful Theo, (after he badly beat up Todd,) but Theo is not keen on leaving him alone (although he has been told to by the police.)

Carla and Lisa (Swain) are planning on getting married very shortly.

Carl has been trying to extort money out of Summer for information, as he knows Theo killed Billy. (Summer knows this now too as Theo cornered her in the shop and told her as much, threatening to 'bury her too.') Summer is - very sensibly - not giving Carl a penny until Theo is arrested!

The ghastly Megan (Trainer) seems to have vanished, so Sam is relatively safe for now, but Sam has been having hallucinations and keeps seeing Will there - coming at him - when Will is nowhere near. Toyah, Leanne, and Eva have tricked Megan into meeting her (by sending a text from the burner phone Megan gave Will, and pretending to be Will...) Not sure what they're going to do when they meet her!

Ben Driscoll has just found out the man he knew as dad is not his bio father, and Jim McDonald is actually his father (so he is.)

The effervescent Debbie is declining a little bit more by the week, but is still in fighting spirit, and is seeing Carl for the parasite he really is. The gorgeous Ronnie is always by her side. Carl has just decided to cause a flood in Debbie's hotel by leaving the taps running in one of the rooms, after she told him he was very difficult to love, and refused to let him have half the hotel after he threatened to report Ronnie to the police for hitting him.

Shona's annoying sister Jodie is causing trouble all over the place! She's stolen Lisa's police badge, and a girl she uses to be a nanny for has turned up. Jodie is not happy about this!

Probably a bit more is happening, but I'm sure it will come up soon.

She just drove into a wall in anger, I think, because he’d slept with Abi. I could be wrong. I don’t think she particularly meant to kill him.

It made me laugh when Fiz asked Sal if Sophie was 'courting' as it sounded so old fashioned and not really en sync with the modern Lesbian culture, never mind the non binaries.

Carl and Theo battling it out to be the LGBTQ heavyweight champion of Weatherfield was quite funny too.

I agree about Carl.

Jodie's make up is very nice tonight.

David isn’t great at the drunken roll either!

And the baddies didn’t even church the memory stick before they meekly left! Ridiculous!

oh. It never seemed particularly planned at the time. But I can’t remember it well.

Tonight’s episode was a bit rubbish, I couldn’t give a stuff about Jodie. Or Shona and David either, for that matter. Although I do wonder who she was talking to at the end.

How many more baddie/murder episodes can there be? Megan. I can’t take Ma as a serious contender in the murdered/murderer stakes.

Poor Harper, her dad has forgotten her it seems. Too busy stealing whiskey.
Who were the heavies after Jodie? The thing is she is so unlikeable I don’t care really !

What is on the hard drive? Shona didn’t really question her too much about any of it. It’s all so odd.

The guys were only sent to get the memory stick nothing heavy unless she didn’t comply. I mean they sent his daughter in first to find it! I do wonder what is on it.

i did think David was a good drunk actually not over the top, quite funny and quickly sobering up when he released what Jodie was up to, he does lighten a scene.

Could it be David that Jodie saw at the end. They’d just had a row and he is panicking about her telling lies to Shona he may have gone after her.

I thought the music at the start was blasting out of Toyas van but they are playing a different track each night.

It is hard to care about her backstory when she could be dead on Friday

Today’s episode was boring. I thought we’d finally get answers about why she was in that van from Corriedale but I don’t think we ever have

She said she was 'going to the hospital to say goodbye to Harper', which I thought was weird. Is Harper dying? Moving to another hospital? Being adopted? Why the trip to say goodbye?

I heard goodnight, not goodbye when she talked about Harper?

anyway, another terrible episode tonight. No doubt we will be left with another cliffhanger on Friday.

There must be hospital scenes coming up surely. In the private room and the waiting area for the use of corrie people.
I still wonder about Todd and his incredible colonoscopy.
