Can't believe we're on a new thread already. Filling up so fast these days!

Brief summary:

Todd has finally left the dreadful Theo, (after he badly beat up Todd,) but Theo is not keen on leaving him alone (although he has been told to by the police.)

Carla and Lisa (Swain) are planning on getting married very shortly.

Carl has been trying to extort money out of Summer for information, as he knows Theo killed Billy. (Summer knows this now too as Theo cornered her in the shop and told her as much, threatening to 'bury her too.') Summer is - very sensibly - not giving Carl a penny until Theo is arrested!

The ghastly Megan (Trainer) seems to have vanished, so Sam is relatively safe for now, but Sam has been having hallucinations and keeps seeing Will there - coming at him - when Will is nowhere near. Toyah, Leanne, and Eva have tricked Megan into meeting her (by sending a text from the burner phone Megan gave Will, and pretending to be Will...) Not sure what they're going to do when they meet her!

Ben Driscoll has just found out the man he knew as dad is not his bio father, and Jim McDonald is actually his father (so he is.)

The effervescent Debbie is declining a little bit more by the week, but is still in fighting spirit, and is seeing Carl for the parasite he really is. The gorgeous Ronnie is always by her side. Carl has just decided to cause a flood in Debbie's hotel by leaving the taps running in one of the rooms, after she told him he was very difficult to love, and refused to let him have half the hotel after he threatened to report Ronnie to the police for hitting him.

Shona's annoying sister Jodie is causing trouble all over the place! She's stolen Lisa's police badge, and a girl she uses to be a nanny for has turned up. Jodie is not happy about this!

Probably a bit more is happening, but I'm sure it will come up soon.

It made me cringe when David started kissing Jodie's neck, (thinking she was Shona,) and Jodie was kissing him! 😖 And bringing up his rape was awful, (which she did when he rejected her,) and saying he's always acting the victim. Cow!

Why do they keep calling the small flash drive a hard drive? It's really bothering me! (I probably need to get out more LOL!!!) Pic 1 is a hard drive, and pic 2 is a flashdrive (which is what Jodie had, and has given those 2 'hard men!')

I also wonder who Jodie was talking to at the end? Must be related to the hard men/FLASHDRIVE! 😆

She could have at least played it for us on the stolen laptop so we might give a shit about it!

.. She is a horrible character. I wouldn’t mind her being another corpse , maybe we will have more than one ?

Jodie is such a confusing character. I think we are meant to understand the significance of the dog and the letter. I think it proves that Shona did get a letter after all. Is that right? Did Jodie send her a letter with a dog in it and Shona said she never received it or something? How did Jodie know where to find the letter? And when did David and Shona move upstairs, and who is downstairs?

Why hasn’t Jodie tried to find this letter before? She clearly blames everything on Shona and thinks that she wasn’t wanted , but she hasn’t really explored why any of it happened back then. Shona seemed to brush off the men wanting the flash drive rather quickly..
Her story is rather a mess isn’t it , not making a lot of sense.

Maybe it was the mention of a dog that made Jody realise Shona had received her letter so went looking for it. Did the picture she sent Shona include a dog?

Has jodie got too many mysterious parts that can't be sorted by Friday? Where is her box?

Yes. The picture had a dog in it.

Perhaps they will kill her off so we can just forget all about it

Oh no, the mention of dogs. I hope that David the dog isn’t harmed by her because of all this.

It will probably be dragged out for the Xmas Day special! I still think the murderer has got to be someone fairly new in Corrie who is leaving the show ie not old school who has been in it for ages. My guess is Mel murdering Megan why else would she be brought in? But then again this is batshit Corrie so who knows!

It is like they forgot the rules of TV. We are supposed to know a bit more than the characters, aren't we? But we know nothing about Jodie. I'm trying to work out what they have told us

It is not a lot to go on, is it?

I only just realised on last nights episode that the opening music, whilst Toyah is in the van, is different each time… I take it the songs somehow link to the storyline for that episode? Has anyone remembered each one and made a link? Just curious!

For the Theo & Todd’s episode they played Finally (it’s happened to me) by CeCe. It starts…Meeting Mr Right, the man of my dreams…!

Carls episode started with Cyndi Laupers Time after Time.

And last nights episode was Happy Together by the Turtles.

I think the lyrics appear to have some relevance to each storyline.

Found a drawing within 5 minutes of Shona slipping up yet a year ago Max set fire to the Platt house and they lost everything.

Jodie actress plays her well as we all dislike her. Carl and Mal are the same too.
Who was the girl Jodie was speaking to in the beginning yesterday ? I thought that was Lily?

Also I noticed each episode has a different writer (I think same director though) which is quite a feat pulling it all together.
