I think Brooke, Gia and Juliette are genuinely bad people.

Gia has a daughter. This is now out there forever. Imagine seeing your mum behave that way. Just awful.

Did they mention that the retreat antics were going to change MAFS forever? Or have I just imagined that.

I used to think Joel was a bit of a twat but basically a nice guy with good morals. Now I just think he's a twat. How disappointing.

I wonder what Rachel will think when she watches this back and realises she's been played by her new best bud Gia.

I think Joel was just so relieved not to be on the receiving end of Juliette’s venom. Bec is a nightmare but obviously has major issues whereas Gia/Brooke/Juliette are malicious and vindictive. Bec should never have been allowed on the program.

The problem with Bec is that she just doesn't know how to say it without coming across as aggressive and vile. She's the classic example of "it's not what you say, it's how you say it" because her assessment of the situation or someone often is correct, but because of her delivery, she just comes across as aggressive.

Whereas Gia twists and lies, but because she's such an excellent manipulator, she comes across as sincere and caring. Plus she lays out her groundwork so that she has the support of her puppets.

Wish Bec would tell Danny to stop saying, "Do ya know what E(I) mean?" in his weird hybrid accent. It is very annoying!

Wish Bec would realise that she should avoid alcohol - it brings out the WORST in her. Probably she will finally stop drinking decades later after years of insulting people.

Finally, I wish Boat boy would tell Bec the truth. He doesn't fancy her at all. You can't force something that isn't there. Bec's melodrama is getting attention in a weird 'Barbara Streisand Effect' way.

Half of what she dislikes about Joel is his lack of convictions. She always knew she could belittle him but he is so desperate for fame/a woman/image that he would keep trying.

Rachel is annoying. As if Gia is her friend.
Sure Gia understands finger banging comment is humiliating but it won’t be for the same reasons as Rach.

Not sure what’s worse, working alongside or managing one.

Normally on MAFS it’s the men who are toxic - well ok not completely but so many of the women this series are a disgrace. And they think a tv show is some kind of weird validation for their toxicity. Juliet is proud of her “angry side” & really relishes using it.
Joel I think didn’t speak up simply to de escalate but don’t think he’ll hang around. Well I hope not. Meanwhile Danny using these pathetic spats to sweep in “and protect my wife” is cringe!

I actually know someone like Gia in real life. She’s beautiful and clever, and we were good friends.

She’s a massive manipulator though. Both she and her weak husband tried to break up my 25- year marriage by dripping poison into my ear for 6 months.

Luckily I realised before it was too late.

I originally assumed it was because he couldn’t handle being with Bec but I’m not sure it’s that anymore seeing as he’s playing the protective husband role now!

I said at the beginning that I liked Rachel but I was worried she and Steven had victim mentality. Her behaviour at the retreat cemented in my mind that she has got stuck in victim mentality. She 100% chose to make herself a victim of Bec's stupid words, which she didn't need to do at all, but clearly couldn't help herself. Agree with all those who find Rachel's in the workplace so very tedious and draining.

Gia and Juliette (and Brooke) are the worst for me, because they are deliberately goady, mean, hurtful, unkind etc because they enjoy the power that it gives them. Of course it only gives them power if others step into their narrative (which is what Stella refused to do at that dinner party when Brooke was at her like a rabid dog) but that's not easy to do.

Still think this should be compulsory viewing for teenagers! So much to learn about what toxic behaviour looks like.😂
