We had a huge leg rescued(snatched from under the nose of the local greedy reduction vulture) that I did when ds came pre Xmas. Did it with garlic and anchovies. My god.

We used to run round the supermarkets on Xmas eve and get the yellow meats then bbq for Easter

I always fill my freezer with Christmas party food, and do myself little mixed plates for lunch all through the holidays

I miss the old days (about 15 years ago) my bestie worked in tesco and did the reducing. He'd text me what was gonna be reduced and id give him a list!!!

We had one of those - vultures, I mean. Positioned himself in front of the section and shovelled everything into his trolley. And I mean everything. Not naice behaviour in Waitrose.

Ours got barred fir being inappropriate to the lass on the deli. Everyone hated him. He lived alone with the best stocked freezer in town. The funniest was the reduction lady chasing people round going "here have this huge leg of lamb/pork/piece of beef for 2 quid"
