I don’t get the jealousy assertion. Jealous of what? Presenting herself as thick? The goading to create drama? The immaturity? She’s certainly not the most attractive girl in there. She’s a manipulator who craves attention. She’s getting it and she’s loving it.

As for her and Sean having fun. Hardly. They just sit pawing each other while repeating the same things over and over again. Yes they laugh but at people not with each other.

I’m not sure it’s jealousy either. If anything, I think Belle, Jessie and Samie genuinely believe they are better people than Lucinda. Which is probably worse because they really aren’t.

They keep referring to Lucinda as a rage baiter, attention seeker etc but if that’s the case, WHY do they all keep falling for the bait and giving her that attention. I can imagine she’s annoying to live with but surely you’d just roll your eyes and let her crack on and she’d eventually make a fool out of herself at some point. The fact that they’re all so comfortable shouting and screaming and swearing (mainly Belle) in their interactions with her shows more of their true colours than anything else. They are absolutely adamant that they can do no wrong in there when actually they’re all guilty of getting into each others business and bringing drama bla bla bla.

And as for people calling Lucinda manipulative, Jessie’s fake tears after a minor interaction with Sean and going running to Belle to tell her, knowing she would kick off is the height of manipulation. It was actually scary to watch and I think she realised she had fucked up when she had to try calm it all down and start backtracking about what really went down.

I imagine on the outside the eye roll etc would be easier. In there there’s no escape and if that person is following you around, pushing for a conversation you don’t want to have there’s not really an escape.

Can’t disagree about Jessy. I think they were more embarrassed tears than anything.

It’s clear to see from your many posts in support of Lucinda that you hold a strong opinion about this. But others, myself included, see the situation differently. Both viewpoints are valid.

We are not in there with them. We simply see a heavily edited, very small
part of their 24 hours.

I think it is a classic case of Belle believes her version is true. Lucinda believes her version to be true. But the real truth probably lies somewhere in between.

It really doesn’t help that the show is so manufactured now and nothing seems natural. Lucinda seems to be able to take it with a pinch of salt, sees it as a laugh and can have fun with it, albeit very much aware of the camera and what makes for good TV.
The others seem to take it far more seriously and I don’t understand why. Calling someone out for mentioning money as if it’s not the biggest incentive to go on the show these days is ridiculous. Us viewers KNOW that they’re on Love Island for the money, brand deals, raised profile and whatever else they can get. Acting faux shocked that someone mentioned money is an insult to the viewers because we can see they are ALL in there for the same thing. Finding love is the bonus on this show these days.
Wish they’d all just relax and have fun but of course the producers won’t allow that 😂

I’ve not looked at TikTok but in insta both Belle & Lucinda have 1m followers Millie 1.9m which is huge they must be making decent money. I hardly remember Belle from her season, was she on the one with Anton?

There can be 2 things going on at once - Belle etc can be bullies and Lucinda can be fake. They are all in it for the money and the fame - not for love. At least Lucinda acknowledges it rather than the faux shock from the rest of them. None of them would have derided Curtis or Casey for going on LI multiple times.

That was disgusting. And mocking the head nod. It’s not on and should be called out. I half wondered if Maya deliberately ran to Lucinda the way she did (similar to how Lucinda ran off) in response to Belles mocking.

but it’s telling that the viewers there are complaining about belle to ofcom and have taken up in support of Lucinda - especially as it was belle and Whitney who were the most popular going in

I'll tell you what, Lucinda is definitely value for money. I can't remember the last time there was such a divisive contestant. Faye Winter, perhaps?

I think Belle has got carried away with the whole 'Hurricane Belle' thing and has lost the plot now. It was entertaining at first seeing her fiery side but now she has just become a bit vile.

I actually did a total side switch and feel for Lucinda now as they just won't let it go. it was uncomfortable viewing seeing them coming for her last night and I actually warmed to soppy Sean sticking up for Lucinda without coming across aggressively.

Time for Belle to go home. I am done with her shouting.

Mocking Lucinda's run and 'control your bird' were the last straw for me. Mean girl energy. 😠

I was definitely more pro Belle in the earlier days and I liked Samie on previous series but I think both of those women have let themselves down on this show. I hope Belle has some sort of realisation when she comes out similar to Faye Winters (no idea if was genuine or not but assuming so) but also, on a very shallow level admittedly, with Belle it’s the touching of her fringe all the bloody time that has annoyed me about her - just stop it! And stop with the nail in your teeth! And breathe 😳🤣

I suspect Belle's going to ramp it up based on the preview of Sunday's show and her dad on the VT. He's just going to tell her what she wants to hear.

They should surely be chucking some more out soon though? When is the final?

Urgh I had forgotten the ‘control your bird’ thing. Didn’t a man say it on a previous series (or may have been MAFS) and was torn to shreds over it. Says all you need to know about someone.
