Belle adjusted her hair 4 times during a short conversation. It's very unattractive when you know someone is concerned about how they look all the time.

Lucinda really gets under her skin when she laughs at her - keep laughing L.
Belle is one of those people who bring the mood of the whole villa down. She has everyone walking on eggshells. Giving gangster moll vibes.

I’m on team Lucinda but don’t think I’d have forgiven her if I was Samie after that massive pie in the face - with velocity ;)
Samie is annoyed but Belle is on a whole other level, very unpleasant and as my mum would say, rather uncouth language for a lady!

I always liked Helena, she’s had a bit of a sorry season too and poor Tommy, I think he needs a break from Love island he can still come back in ten years for All Stars if it’s still going.

We have to remember there’s loads we didn’t see too, so maybe Lucinda was really heavily bullied over those days worse than we actually saw on screen. I do think she probably has ADHD which is why she’s so impulsive and has such a bee in her bonnet about fairness & justice it’s quite a common trait.

I couldn’t live in there with Belle, all that shouting would trigger me!
She shuts everyone else down by shouting the loudest and it’s just so unnecessary.
The whole ‘I am what I am’ just screams of no ability to self reflect. She’s one of them ‘I say it how it is’ people who are actually rude as fuck in the name of ‘honesty’.

I am neither Team Lucinda or Team Belle. Think the whole thing is ridiculous and has gone on for far too long now.

Lucinda does know what she is doing by keep bringing it up. More drama equals more airtime.

Belle shouting and talking over everyone is annoying and uncalled for.

And why has Whitney suddenly got an issue with Sher?

I don’t see Lucinda as the bullied victim. It’s all an act.

As for Whitney still salty with Leanne and now salty with Sher! What is she playing at? Leanne may well have something to say when she finds out that Whitney was encouraging Scott to pick Belle.

Belle, as I said a good few days ago, needs to pipe down now. She was right to say her piece upon return from Casa USA but this has all gone on for far too long. She’s made a fool of herself over Scott to boot.

Jessy has also made a fool of herself now and played into Lucinda’s hands. And for what?

If I was Helena or Millie, I would be really sick of living with all this drama, sharing a bathroom and dressing room with the constant sniping and coffee nonsense.

Jessy tried to have a go at Helena re Tommy’s doubts 😂😂

Jesy is a bit controlling and patronising . I mean I remember she was quite bossy in her couple with Joey Essex, but as he loved winding everyone up in their season I got why she tried to rein him in. But I’m now realising she’s generally just a bossy person.

If what Helena and Tommy said wasn’t true she wouldn’t be bothered trying to correct Helena . She knows they can see her game, that’s why she’s trying to shut Helena up.

Yes Jesy did make a fool of herself and I love how Sean told her that 😂in fact that may be why she was crying. She’s realised her attempted dressing down of Lucinda didn’t land the way she thought it did. If only she knew how the tide has turned so many who were supporting Belle are now in favour of Lucinda or at least see her as the lesser of the two evils lol

Jessy would have been better off just keeping out of it all and now she has been drawn into the bullshit drama as well now. 🙄

This season I have actually really liked Helena and didn't take to her much in her own season. Think Carrington will try and crack on with Jessy though which will be shit for her once again.

Jessy launched a personal attack on Lucinda out of absolutely nowhere about things that are absolutely nothing to do with her, was mildly questioned by Sean about what that was about, went straight to Belle all teary-eyed, causing Belle to be reactivated and start bellowing about Sean making girls cry...

I feel really bad for Lucinda, she is an agent of chaos in some ways, but I see no malice there and agree with a PP that she is baffled at the unfairness and hypocrisy she's seeing around her. I don't think she keeps following Belle around to goad her, I think she doesn't understand what's going on and thinks she can clear it up if she can just explain. It's pointless of course as Belle will never listen or give any ground or admit any fault, but I don't think Lucinda knows that.

I like Helena too, I liked her on her own season and thought she was much maligned then.

@giveyourselfapresent exactly! Not sure why she felt she even needed to get involved in it all. Had fuck all to do with her. She wasn't even there for most of it 😂

I get Sean trying to stick up for Lucinda but in all of the attacks on him he has never been disrespectful or raised his voice (as far as I can recall 🤔)

They all need to just bury it now and let it all go but looking at tonight's clip it will no doubt kick off again. The USA lot must wonder what the hell they have come into coming to the UK.😂

The Whitney and Jessy incidents have the odorous whiff of producer influence about them. I wish they'd let things develop organically - is that even possible in this artificial environment though? Probably not.

Yeah I just saw the first look too. Irrespective of her motivations for arguing with Belle, Lucinda also comforted Leanne when she needed a shoulder to cry on.

And Lucinda already admitted that at least part of the reason why she was doing it was to challenge Belle for her double standards, so not sure why Leanne is bringing it up now in this game as if it’s something that hasn’t already been discussed.

I hope she comes at Belle with the same energy in one of the other questions or it’s a bit strange and spineless of Leanne to criticise Lucinda over this. It looks like she’s just doing this to distance herself from Lucinda and cosy up to Belle. I hope someone points out that Leanne was more than happy for Lucinda to speak up for her at the time!

I think she may end up as favourite girl if this continues, because a lot of people are transferring their votes from their former faves to Lucinda. I never thought I’d be saying this but I’ll be using my vote for Lucinda not Leanne!

I find Belle very unpleasant...she tries to play the victim. Sammie is so nasty. I did not like Lucinda at all but have definitely warmed to herand I 'll be voting for her and Sean as I feel they have had a hard time. Jesy interfered when there was no need to....then started crying..very fake.

Feel sorry for Jack, Sher is so cold with him . I wish he'd just dump her ...she is hanging around hoping someone else will pick her . Like Leanne but no time for Scott

I honestly don’t there is one couple in there that I think has a decent chance on the outside. Not long term.

I could be wrong. I was wrong about Grace and Luca. I thought she would dump him in a matter of weeks.

Samie and Ciaran maybe but I think she’ll get bored (if she isn’t already).

With Sean and Lucinda, time will tell if she really does have a rich bf on the outside.

I am a bit behind. Have been watching it on Catch up. About 8 episodes behind.

I am struggling to see why the majority of the men are obsessed with Millie. She's not awful, but what are they seeing? She is fairly plain and bland IMO. There are far prettier young women in there. Whitney for one. And Samie.

Longer answer - a lot of men see slim and blonde as the ideal and find it harder to see those far outside of that as beautiful.

You see it all the time on Love island, I remember last season Blu looked so put out when he was coupled with Alima who is a stunning Black Scottish girl.

That said - I do think Millie is very pretty.

i think belle is horrible and if lucinda is playing a game then hats off to her tbh. surely all of them remember how love island works. them having massive shouting matches is really horrible. and surely there's other ways of getting air time? i would have thought they would have had a load of media training and they know how not to be totally bonkers all the time.

i love that helena is back with her bf. sami is mean and aren't they all too old to be siding with chief meanie (bell) (with an /e/ on the end) and then inheriting her meanie-ness.

New here but read the full threads with interest. I think Millie is probably the prettiest girl in there, she's kept things fairly natural as well.

Just me who wishes there was a LI for over 40s? I'd be applying in a heartbeat...would love a few weeks of sun and hunky blokes and potentially the chance to give up my mundane job which at the moment is making me lose the will to live :)
