She does that with Lucinda too or anyone else who speaks up for her. She doesn’t even join in to back them, she just purses her lips and makes a face or says to move on. It’s like come on girl stand up!!!

I wonder how she’ll react to Samie sharing what Sophie said. I bets Lucinda will end up saying more on that point and Leanne will just be sat there.

I was trying to remember if Sophie and Leanne knew each other and just remembered Sophie and Leanne were in the same season the first time around so yeah they do.

Yeah it is very common, unfortunately there are plenty of men 50+ who are quite happy to follow this aspect of modern dating,
even if it wasn’t a thing when they were young!

This is just Scott stuck with a person he’s not remotely attracted to, and manoeuvring a way out without damaging his reputation, for reasons I’m not prepared to outline on here.

@ComedyGuns Coming back to this, I’m curious why do you think he chose Leanne to start with if he wasn’t “remotely attracted” to her? How was he “stuck” with her at the beginning?

Belle expressed an interest in him at the very start, Millie did too quite soon after. He had at least two options in the first week or so when it would have been relatively painless to jump
ship.

Each to their own opinion but just trying to understand why someone would think he a. Wasn’t attracted to a beautiful girl like Leanne and B. Was stuck with her when he actively pursued and then chose her in the recoupling near the start.

@This2shallpas people will deny it but we all know why some people seem to think that Scott can't possibly be attracted to Leanne. It's obvious that Belle also thinks that way. Facially Leanne is more striking than Belle, has a better figure, is calmer, a nicer person and doesn't go ballistic at the slightest issue - yet Belle still thinks the concept of Scott seriously liking Leanne is incredulous.

Belle was dying to explode at Lucinda during the pie chat. I don't think Scott intended to provoke a reaction out of her from his question but I'm glad that he did as it proves once again that she has no skills to have a healthy disagreement, even when she's supposedly trying hard to tone it down. Immediately resorts to the effing and blinding.

I would love this. I went down a rabbit hole about it (half term and should have been marking). If it's real he is happy for her to come on reality tv as he owns a brand she promotes .... but who knows! It was a great avoidance tactic to research 😀

Completely agree!! As angry as Belle was over Sean/Lucinda she didn’t really express disbelief at the idea of him liking Lucinda more than her. When it comes to Leanne though she just can’t seem to comprehend Scott genuinely likes Leanne more than her.

Scott may well be a game player and how much he likes Leanne remains to be seen, but either way it’s obvious he was never really interested in Belle and prefers Leanne to her.

I think that Leanne is the only girl in the villa that he is attracted to. I think that his issue is he is not ready to commit to any woman which is why I think that Leanne should cut her losses and give him the elbow
Lucinda and Sean making it official forced him to address the bf/ gf issue which is why he reacted negatively to the whole thing

I don’t think it’s obvious at all that Scott prefers Leanne. I think for him it’s all game play and he just wants to stay in with a chance of winning. As for Belle, she’s just sore that she was rejected by Sean and Scott. She no more wants Harrison than he wants her too.

As I said previously , most of the girls in the villa showed an interest in Scott .
He wanted Leanne which has annoyed some of them .
Not only is she all the things that you mentioned in your post , apparently my dd said that she has a MSc in occupational psychology and passed with distinction

I felt like a betrayed 14 year old reading that - I’d become so invested in her and Sean’s relationship and was convinced a Hello-sponsored wedding was going to eventually happen…

She’s running a business basically, but if they win it might hopefully appear more lucrative to her to stay as a couple.

Personally I think it’s highly likely she’ll realise that soon after they leave and she will be the one to end things with Scott even before they become bf/gf.

Belle will be waiting hopefully constantly refreshing her DMs 🤣 She seems to be thrilled at the idea of being the backup or second option. Scott was physically attracted to her initially but I doubt after seeing the way she operates he’d be so daft to get with her. I can’t even see them getting along as close friends.

I was watching Carrington’s interview on the Love Island podcast and he was basically saying he went off Belle completely seeing the way she reacted to the Sean/Lucinda situation. He said her issue should mainly have been with Sean if anything and he felt uncomfortable when it was “six girls” against Lucinda.

Completely agree. Perhaps I'm naive but I think he does really like Leanne and it's just the way he is.

I also don't think there was anything particularly wrong with their question - everyone pretty much asked things to 'reassure Leanne' so I'm not sure why the DMs question is any different.

If they win and she stays with Sean I could see her becoming another Molly Mae. She seems to have the work ethic for it and a certain 'normal girl next door' appeal to her that so many people love.

If she did that she may do even better than Molly.

Molly was a very established influencer when she went on Love Island - it was her listed occupation, and I thought she seemed so hard-nosed because of it.

She also looked very ordinary compared to her filtered Instagram, whereas Lucinda is extremely pretty in real life.

I’m not buying the Lucinda becoming like Molly Mae idea, this is her fourth love island, if you go back and watch the other seasons she has been on she has behaved exactly the same, even winning one a few months ago. She already has a big insta following, but I think a lot of people have her sussed. I also am not a fan of belles behaviour so it’s not a team one or the other for me just im struggling with the wool over the eyes of Lucinda

Have just watched last nights. I fell asleep early so gutted didn’t watch it along with the thread. What another shit show. Belles constantly eyerolling and mutterings under her breath are so tedious now. As is her shouting and pointing - completely negates any point she is trying to make. Scott is slimey but I kind of understand what he was trying to say about how his mind works. Lucinda and thingy did make me laugh with their question - I think they chose the question to avoid asking anything deeper. Belles response to not taking Harrison 🙄 they have been ‘together’ 2 minutes. I understood what Lucinda was trying to say about pieing Samie - that if the result makes Samie hsppy then that’s fine. I felt for Tommy. He isn’t going to find his person on LI.
Wonder how Samie will dilute what Sophie said to her when answering the question about Belle. I think it’s in Belles best interests to go now - things are going to keep getting brought up and the same arguments will keep happening. You could see it on all their faces how tired they are of it.

But if you have found the winning formula and you are earning a good wage out of it then why would you stop?
I’m not the biggest fan of either of them either. But I prefer the better game player.

That's exactly why I think she could be another Molly Mae because Lucinda treats every LI experience as a job. She's so focused on her 'career' for want of a better word. Molly Mae admitted she only went on LI to boost her platform and it's clear that Lucinda has done the same on each occasion. Lucinda also has a massive fan base in the US.

If I was her and wanted to be the next Molly I'd be attempting a serious go of it with Sean once outside the villa. If they split within a couple of weeks most people will take it as confirmation that she game played all along which I think will hurt her image.

I guess that makes sense, but then there is also so much about her having this sugar daddy on the outside aswell, she seems to be in love and besotted and the minute the show is over so is she with the man. Molly mae got the love story to keep people interested (debatable I suppose when all the stuff about Tommy came out to be fair)
