Also told her they weren’t friends. Samie not in the wrong from my perspective.

She didn’t just put her, she smashed it in her face! It was viscious! Totally different vibe to everyone else doing it for fun. Samie did not imagine that!

And I think that last question to Samie was rotten- she didn’t want to cause more drama by coming through and telling everyone what Sophie had said to her. I thought that was pretty mature of her.

And all because Samie didn’t invite Lucinda to a launch party, when she wasn’t in the country, and didn’t comment on a social media post/picture. She wasn’t gunning for Samie from the start, but Lucinda plays the innocent little victim so well. The baby voice, the faux tears. It’s all an act.

She was making little digs tonight, but all it’s said in a baby voice so doesn’t get the same reaction of the others when they say something.

I missed the question, what was it? I also missed what Sophie said, didn’t watch the video call episode.

Question was Samie are you going to tell Belle what Samie said about her, something along those lines.

What she said again roughly was Samie, Belle’s drama is not your drama, don’t get involved, also what Belle did is way worse than what Lucinda did.

I thought that was, weirdly, quite an interesting episode. Scott is desperate not to look like a bad guy and did want to embarrass Belle with his question for the public. I lay it all at Scott’s door because he leads and Leanne follows. He will throw anyone under the bus.

Leanne is so adverse to confrontation that she shrinks away from any really strong conversations. Even when she has rehearsed what she wants to say. She just folds.

Samie is right about Lucinda (which is why Lucinda is desperate for Samie to drop it).

Tommy is clearly fed up of being taken for a fool.

Belle has been trying so hard to keep a lid on Hurricane Belle but it just keeps bubbling away. I think she does have the measure of Scott which infuriates him. And she definitely still fancies him, which infuriates her.

If you’ve never encountered it that’s great but it’s absolutely a thing.

There are multiple threads on here with women in that situation themselves or talking about their daughter who is being strung along.

It’s more common with Gen Z I’d say but it can happen with all age groups. As I said I experienced a guy trying to pull that stunt on me (both millennials)

She really needs to speak up for herself more instead of sitting back and letting others stand up for her . Even when Lucinda went out of her way to ask how she was feeling about it after Belles backlash to their question, she just declined to comment as if she wasn’t a part of the situation. It’s all a bit strange.

@This2shallpasI agree that the “auditioning” definitely exists in real life. I hear it in my conversations with my teen dd and her friends about boys they know. But I also hear elements of it from my dsis and her online dating experiences. And she is mid 50s.

It’s all about men keeping the upper hand.
