I enjoyed the earlier episodes more. I didn’t like all the weeping. 🙄

I don’t think the end game was as well played out as the U.K. version.

I liked it not being so dragged out

yes agree about the crying - it was really heartfelt with Vanessa and sad to watch

I was talking to a friend about this today and we agreed it was fun in the early episodes and just fizzled out. Maybe the constant changing of traitors? Something just wasn’t gripping and I think maybe it was also the fact that they all looked so unhappy by the end. It was a strange vibe.

None of the contestants were very likeable and there was too much crying.

the end felt very anti-climatic

I didn't like Vanessa, she's just not likeable.

The money is not worth the effort..I guess Vanessa and Oyin could have made more by voting Kelley out, as happened in one series where two Traitors just wanted to make more money. But it would have been mean.

Oyin is very striking and well spoken. Maybe she might get some modelling or presenting work out of this.

I may have been the only person on this thread who would rather ben had won than any of the girls.

Yes it did say Oyin is a model. I liked Vanessa.

The only thing that irritated me was that so many of the women found it necessary to waft their lovely manicures to the cameras all the time. I'm sure there wasn't really a need for their nails to be displayed quite so much.

I'd have quite liked the challenges to have been a bit more physical. Sole reason being it would have put all those people with ridiculous fingernails at a disadvantage. 😂

Finally got to the end. It was a bit of a slog.

I now understand what pp meant by being ‘satisfied’ with the ending! Yes, the right finalists won, but the prize was laughably small and they had to share it!

Oyin was an absolute star, so I hope being on the show has benefitted her. And poor Vanessa suffered so much hostility, (why?) so she deserved her reward. I barely noticed the third winner until the end.

The men were almost universally awful. (Or too inarticulate to be good players.)

It is terribly confusing when Siobhan isn’t the sharply drawn character she was in Derry Girls. It’s a lot to live up to.

Not sure I’d bother with another Ireland series - the budget wasn’t bud enough to make it exciting.

I've seen both NZ series and enjoyed them.

I enjoyed NZ ones. My favourite ever contestant is in Australia S1. My favourite ever traitors series from US, UK. Ireland, NZ & Australia is S2 Australia. It’s epic. It just gets better and better imo.

After ours (except series 3) I liked Aus the best

Oz series 2 was awesome. Might watch it again if it’s still available.

I iiked Oz S 1. Great cast and a satisfying end.

Just finished watching it. It’s my favourite series ever but I seem to be in the minority thinking that 🤣

I preferred all of the tasks and I think they were much better for being less elaborate/expensive.

I was very happy with the outcome, I felt the best/nicest people won. Although Ben was likeable too. I didn’t mind the arguing round the table, found it quite entertaining! Although it wasn’t nice seeing Jo so upset.

Paudie was quite argumentative too and interrupted everyone but he was still very likeable and I’m not surprised he’s done well since the series finished.

I agree about the tasks, I didn’t mind them. Paudie was good to watch because he kept slightly losing the plot and dropping himself in it. Hated the girlie clique and the fact that 5/6 (is that right?) of the traitors were men.

I prefer Siobhan over Claudia but Alan Cumming is a hard watch.

I made it halfway through the very first episode of USA traitors and had to turn off.
Alan and the majority of the contestants where awful 😖

I think it caters fi a different market, I also couldn’t watch it, I found it too over the top and fake. I find Claudia the best by a country mile, she feels genuinely involved and classy. I also warmed to Siobhan, she warmed up as the series went on and became less nervous than she appeared in the early episodes. Although I did feel her attire was just too much of a caricature at times, she does tend to that, but not to thid extreme, I don’t want to look at her and think she looks a bit silly. When I look at Claudia I think wow she looks great, love that, and as much as Siobhan has a completely different dress sense, I would prefer to think she looks great than think yikes that looks silly.

Agree it started strong then fizzled, partly because Inthink I lost track of who said what to who when, partly everyone was so miserable by the end. Also all very young. Kelley was he classic wet blanket default winner, Oyin was fabulous though and it was nice to have 3 women win. The Jo stuff was horrible, not sure I’ve ever seen such blatant bullying on a Traitors before and I’ve seen a lot. Kind of spoiled it for me.
