Can’t see a thread. Anyone watching?

OP posts:

They all seem to sit with their (shoe clad) feet on the furniture. Shocking.

I watched the series when it aired originally so didn't want to contribute to this thread in case I accidentally give a spoiler but I'd forgotten this. It drove me nuts at the time.

Just watched episode 10 - two of them on velvet sofas both trainers on seats - Grrrrr 😡

PinterandPirandello · 18/02/2026 22:36

I think the lads will keep Faye in.

So do I. Eye candy, innit?

And she hasn't got a scooby about either of them.

ShowDownTime · 19/02/2026 00:05

Jo was right that the girls were being bitchy to her. Led by Vanessa who was trying to save her own skin. I didn’t like Kelley joking about how she was going to vote for Jo but thanks for the shield ha ha and the others sniggering and someone saying “good one”. I think Jo had a sudden playground flashback kind of moment of feeling ganged up on by mean girls. I’m sure it’s all very heightened in the moment.

honeyrider · 19/02/2026 01:41

Vanessa was a mean girl with a scowl like she licked dog pee of a nettle.

Wickedlittledancer · 19/02/2026 07:27

I think the girls did gang up and take our Jo, but then them all ganging up and taking someone out is normal to be honest, man or woman. And it wasn’t just girls who voted for jo,

I think Vanessa is just panicking and paranoid. What I have noticed on this series is the traitors have not been one unit, they turn on each other, and I’m not sure it will be different in the end for Nick and Ben, although will be till then.

they also all don’t vote for their mates, so they don’t really play the game, they vote for this who aren’t their mates and hope for the best. We have seen it before, but not to this extent, the cliques, but this is quite a young group, and it’s causing rhe older ones to come under fire. Likely why Vanessa is panicking.

CharlotteRumpling · 19/02/2026 07:35

Yes, it's called Traitors. Players are supposed to gang up and be mean girls. Not Miss Congeniality.

DiamondRBD · 19/02/2026 08:31

The way they treated Joanna was off to me. Yes it's traitors, but because they are young women and essentially lied about something she said to them and ganged up in a group in an unpleasant way, it felt horrible. I think it was Kelley's behaviour which upset her. And she knew she had treated her badly afterwards. Hence the crying. The series of traitors I love are where there are intelligent, not predominantly young age group of people left at the end. Series 1 NZ springs to mind. But the traitors have a massive incentive to get rid of anyone intelligent. All UK series have been massively flawed and unsatisfying for me for this reason. I also loved the celebrity one as the overall intelligence levels of the people was higher, even if they behaved as less of a herd. I can also take pleasure in good traitors but I don't like Ben and Nick, and I dislike all bits of traitors where women are essentially manipulated by men - Harry and Molly springs to mind.i know this is what traitors is but as a woman, I just struggle with this dynamic particularly as it feels depressing.

NewAgeNewMe · 19/02/2026 08:46

The celebrity one, slightly different imo, as some already knew each other and may come across each other in the future, so had an added interest in ‘playing nice’.

Or playing sycophantic in some cases. "Oh you are so intelligent, you'd make such a good traitor, that's why I'm voting for you"

ConstanzeMozart · 19/02/2026 11:07

Haven't RTFT as I'm only up to Ep 7, but I have a question: if a 'blackmail' (hate that they use that term; it's not, it's an ultimatum) fails ie they refuse and get murdered instead, and they're left with just one traitor, what happens? Do they pick someone else to give the ultimatum to? What if that fails as well? Do they keep asking people all night until someone says yes? The game would risk losing too many Faithfuls if so.

Rictasmorticia · 19/02/2026 11:57

Yes. They do keep playing till someone agrees. I have only seen one person choose to be murdered rather than become a traitor.

Wow, so in theory they could keep going all night?!
And lose a lot of Faithfuls.
Seems like a flaw in the game, but maybe it's a pretty safe bet that most people would come on board rather than be murdered.

They want to stay in the game, so it’s a fairly safe bet they will say yes, even if one says no, the next won’t.

It’s never going to happen though.

Rictasmorticia · 19/02/2026 16:55

It did once . A guy I think. It was towards the end of the series and he said that he had been a Faithful from the start and did not want to go out with people thinking he had deceived them.

Yeah but it’s never been repeated refusals and I’m fairly sure they’d allow one or two then come up with someone inventive,

I also think anyone doing it was prob on the way out anyway, as ultimately they are there to win the money and don’t want to go home, and most of them want to be traitors, as you’ve the best chance of winning if you are one.

well until this series where thr traitors seem to spend more time attacking each other than trying to get faithfuls out.😂

I think the poster is talking about someone refusing abduction - not a blackmail

Do you mean seduction?

Anyway, no, I meant specifically if someone chose to be murdered rather than become a traitor – the ultimatum, or 'blackmail' as they insist on calling it. I don't think you can have one traitor on their own, at least not this relatively early in the game, so I wondered what might happen if (in this specific case) Paudie had wanted to blackmail Andrew and he'd said no, he'd just be murdered, then Paudie picked (I haven't watched this far yet so picking at random) Ben and Ben said no and was murdered, then he picked Faye and Faye said no and was murdered…
I know it's unlikely, but I was just curious as to whether there's a rule built in to prevent this happening.

and yes! I did mean seduction. 😂😂 abduction!!

I reckon they make sure they pick people who need the money and will
play to the end game

We are watching it and enjoying it. Wanted to see it when it was on last year but am in UK although am Irish.

Last time I was at Slane Castle I was watching Queen play!

Quite liking Siobhan as presenter. Paudie is out of his depth I think. Not keen on Eamon.

My mammy saw Queen in Slane too!

Sorry don't want to derail!
