gerrrr can't watch it till DH finishes editing his wedding.. (he's a photographer).. thank god for sky+ could not live without it.

suppose I should go make tea to have while watching... does thai green curry go with dr. Who? what is the proper dinner protocol for dr. who watching?

Not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched it in 'real time' but what the hell did I just watch? Did I see the s4 finale or did I doze off and think up some odd fanfiction? I have no idea whether I liked that or not - that was.............. weird!

Think I loved and hated that at exactly the same time - what an odd experience, thanks RTD for messing with my mind

I think I may need to see it again before I make my mind up but it was a lot better than it could have been....

It was so sad! I am gutted for Donna, especially as she didn't meet Lee again.

Bloomin' Rose got it all her way again! Last time she got a universe where her dad was still alive (and rich!), her mum, Mickey, a new job that didn't involve folding jumpers. Now she's got a snoggable Doctor too.
Poor old Donna didn't even get her memories .

Is anyone else hoping Mickey joins Torchwood?

Presumably it's not a coincidence that orchwood lost its doctor & its computer expert at the end of the last series....

I like Mickey so yes. I get the feeling Martha will be replacing Owen as Torchwood doctor as well.

I loved the German-speaking Daleks . Fab. I also loved the interplay between the doctor being a bit donna, and donna being a bit doctor. But I really, really hated the music when the tardis was towing the earth back, and the fact that it went on for soooo long.

And what do we still think about Donna's ring (so to speak)? It was glinting a lot in that final scene when she was on the phone in the kitchen.

Intrigued by something in Confidential.

DH reckons I am reading too much into it in a desperate bid to keep the potential squeeness going until future episodes.

Anyone else notice the music playing when they showed the filming of the lovey dovey beach scenes?

I'm feeling a bit let down though still too stunned to work out why.

I vote for Wilf for the next companion. But I suspect they'll have a few random ones for the specials, then maybe choose one of them, or a completely different one.

I had subtitles up (blardy kids wouldn't shut up!) and the words were something like 'now there's a river'.

Last line, repeated twice, just as they were talking about the Doctor and lost loves.
