Thought I'd kick it off so we have a new thread for the final leg

Old Thread for the people what likes it all neat 'n' stuff.

OP posts:
cornsilk · 29/06/2008 14:07

not giving a lot away there then.

PortBlacksandResident · 29/06/2008 14:30

Don't know if this has been done but when the Dr became human and became John Smith he left a set of recorded instructions for Martha.

During his 'speil' there was a time when he was talking in the background and you couldn't hear him. Then he had to end on a dramamtic note.

This is what he actually said.

missed it last night.. but sky+'d it so will watch it later tonight.. would rather have watched it that the crappy movie we watched instead...

Donna has grown on me and I quite like her in the last few episodes...

JackieNo · 29/06/2008 15:39

lol PBR.

KayHarker · 29/06/2008 15:48

Ah, the Oster Hagen Key, what's that all about then, eh?

OP posts:
JackieNo · 29/06/2008 15:51

Hmm - don't know what that is. According to a google link I couldn't open (to DigitalSpy), Osterhagen is listed as one of the sub-camps of Buchenwald.

JackieNo · 29/06/2008 15:53

and an anagram of 'earth's gone' apparently.

slalomsuki · 29/06/2008 15:54

At the end of the last series and the Master episode the ring that was left in the ashes when the masters body was burnt was picked up by a womans hand..........could this be Donna? and have some link to this series

PortAndLemon · 29/06/2008 16:02

RTD has said that he just put that in to give future producers something they could hang subsequent storylines from.

He may have been lying, of course.

PortAndLemon · 29/06/2008 16:09

Actually, my main argument in favour of the "the-Doctor-still-being-DT" theory is that RTD hasn't leakd anything about it. Every other big "surprise" in every other season has been all over the place months in advance and RTD has spent most of Confidential dropping heavy hints. It's almost inconceivable that he could have kept this quiet... unless it's a double-bluff and his whole "I can't keep a secret for toffee" persona of the last four years has been an elaborately-constructed facade.

theSuburbanDryad · 29/06/2008 16:56

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but:

Donna is a temp (as she constantly points out)

Temp Noble means Time Lord in mangled almost kind of Latin.

Hmmmmmmmm

I much prefer the Donna-is-the-Master theory.

Aitch · 29/06/2008 18:01

lolol at DT on that clip. i was at that gig, it was v good.

PeachyHidingInTheShed · 29/06/2008 18:19

surely the biggest evcidence for the contnuation of dt is dt filimng the Christmas apecial in monmouth a few weeks ago?

would they really have faked that?

or is that just too reality based

asdore the temp noble theory, fabulous

motherinferior · 29/06/2008 19:08

I bloody loved this episode but did very slightly snigger at the 'oops, sorry, I'm regenerating, I just can't stop it...' moment. Or perhaps that says rather more about me than anything else

Well I have read an interesting theory over on the Tardis Wiki or whatever it's called.

Go have a look if you fancy a spoiler!

Wow Pruners - I never knew he was married to her.

Aitch · 29/06/2008 20:29

she was my absolute favourite asst. i was at an age where i Simply Couldn't Believe someone that beautiful could exist.

and yes, pruni, i know what you mean. i feel like i watch the eps then come on here for an explanation. it just looks like a whizzy sciency-timey-wimey-adventurey programme on my tv.

(but having read that wiki, i am forced to concede that this lot are barely out of short trousers in the dr who fandom stakes).

motherinferior · 29/06/2008 20:30

So I'm alone at sniggering at the premature regeneration then?
