A new thread as the first BB aka Blondes Broadcasts is nearly full and was almost 2years ago I set up BB rather then tagging people on the threads as I used to do - which was very time consuming

I love tv - whether murders - detectives - thrillers - comedy’s - food programmes etc

i watch a lot usually at work as usually Reflux baby over shoulder

all will tv paced - Nice to discuss plots and Theories etx

If one feels the need to binge 🙄😛🙀

DO NOT POST ON HERE

till that episode has been shown at tv pace

Thank you kindly 😘😘

it’s a very simple ask yet so many watch all , then reply about something we haven’t seen yet

Blondes glares 😂😂

first thread below

The 80s legal drama is reborn with a new lead as Matty plots to convince hirers they need an older woman for the job. Brilliant septuagenarian Madel...

I've got that on record, watched last week's. I started on Grantchester last night, but after 5 mins, I thought, do I really want to sit through this? It's got a lot duller and tamer than it used to be; I think I've seen enough now.

butterpuffed · 15/01/2026 15:25

Thanks for the brand new thread @Blondeshavemorefun

I watched Granchester too , used to love it but last night's was so silly , like a bad amateur play .

Thank you for the new thread @Blondeshavemorefun 💐

Pixiedust1234 · 16/01/2026 01:24

Thanks for doing this again. I seem to really like the majority of the TV shows you list but I'd probably miss them if left to my own devices. Plus it's nice to have someone to blame if I'm sat on the sofa instead of doing chores 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/01/2026 08:19

You are all welcome. It’s nice to have someone - many someone’s 😂😂 to chat /discuss plots /theories and how crap some of the dramas are

but we still love to watch them

I’m here thanks for the new thread!!

BakeOffRewatch · 17/01/2026 21:32

HELLO BLONDE thank you for the new thread.

I like comedies and interior design. I liked Ludwig, Shakespeare and Hathaway, but not the more gory thriller crime murder stuff. Definitely did not like the realistic dead bodies in Annika and don’t like them in Patience and stuff. The great thing about BB, is DH goes through them and finds stuff he likes which I’ll watch ! People pooh Pooh TV but for us it’s a great way to unwind and switch off.

I also love babies but prefer them non-refluxy!

Where are people watching Grantchester?

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/01/2026 21:46

Ludwig will be on this year

glad to be of service to mr @BakeOffRewatch

Grantchester is on ordinary ITV, but it's far from what it was.

Hey @Blondeshavemorefun Have you watched the Dollenganger Saga on Ch5? It’s the whole Flowers in the Attic series, I read the books at school many many years ago and have just seen it while browsing the Ch5 app. Made me a bit nostalgic! Might give it a try unless you come on and say it’s utter shite Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/01/2026 20:50

I read all the books. Major incest and screwed up famillies big time

I’m sure I tried it and couldn’t get on with it

I've just started back on S3 of Dark Winds, on U-Alibi. It's pretty decent.

I think I struggled with 5&6 on s2
started off really good

Finished Dark Winds now, and although one trippy episode where yer man had been spiked with ketamine, which went on a bit (I don't think that ketamine is really like an acid trip, but that's the way it's often portrayed on TV. Although I have no direct experience of that). But other than that, strong characters, decent plotting; I liked it.

Haven't got Sky Atlantic, and running short now!

Ooo glad to hear this is back!

moto748e · 29/01/2026 01:37

I've been watching Astrid. Is no-one else here a fan? I didn't watch the much-praised English version because I'd seen the original. And I thought I'd seen all of it. But I idly checked a while back, and there were four series, and I thought, have I really watched that much? So I looked at S4, and it looked like I'd seen the first couple of eps, and somehow much have stopped watching. But the rest were definitely new to me. Good ep I just watched about Iranian women in Paris.
