A new thread as the first BB aka Blondes Broadcasts is nearly full and was almost 2years ago I set up BB rather then tagging people on the threads as I used to do - which was very time consuming

I love tv - whether murders - detectives - thrillers - comedy’s - food programmes etc

i watch a lot usually at work as usually Reflux baby over shoulder

all will tv paced - Nice to discuss plots and Theories etx

If one feels the need to binge 🙄😛🙀

DO NOT POST ON HERE

till that episode has been shown at tv pace

Thank you kindly 😘😘

it’s a very simple ask yet so many watch all , then reply about something we haven’t seen yet

Blondes glares 😂😂

first thread below

Don’t know if you’ve already mentioned this but a drama called Gone is starting on itv in the next week or 2 - looks good. Eva Moyles and David Morrissey. About a missing wife.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/02/2026 23:25

No I haven’t only as don’t know when it’s on so can’t do a title till day and time

it can’t be next week as not showing in tv guide

so maybe week after

but sounds my kind of drama
and love EM

Just putting it here, cos MN doesn't have a 'Real-time TV' thread, but I quite enjoyed Gogglebox's take on Peter Mandelson just now. 😀

Not really quotable, it was just amusing TV.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/02/2026 22:14

Mumsnet needs a real time television thread!

I tried to start a daytime TV one but it was crickets on there

I've posted on other talkboards in the past that had very successful ones, but for whatever reason (too big?), it seems it hasn't panned out on MN. Nothing new under the sun; I'm sure the idea has been suggested/tried before.

diddl · 03/03/2026 17:12

Maybe you could see if people would be interested & try again?

Pixiedust1234 · 03/03/2026 19:59

Too many good programmes, so little time 😫

Thanks for keeping a clear list Blondes

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2026 20:54

I try my best

I remember this first time around. Deborah Kerr and Jenny Seagrove. We had girls nights in, at university watching it. We’d all read the books. Misty eyed thinking of those days.

I’m far too young to remember it 😂

😂❤️

deeahgwitch · 07/03/2026 09:46

Thanks Blondes.
I’m Watching After the Flood Season 2. and Triggerpoint Season 3 - we just got them in Ireland.
However there are either no subtitles or the subtitles aren’t keeping up with the speech so they aren’t easy to follow. 🥲

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/03/2026 13:13

I live for subtitles as semi deaf

what channels do you get - remind me

can you follow any threads with us

OP posts:
deeahgwitch · 07/03/2026 16:39

We get BBC 1&2 and Channel 4. Also Sky stuff. Plus our national tv called RTE 1and RTE2.
We get ITV stuff late and the subtitles are usually sh*te on a channel called Virgin One.
We sometimes get programmes shown on C5 months after broadcast in the UK, on RTE 1 or 2.
It’s only Virgin One that have crappy subtitles.
But they eventually show the programmes discussed on your threads @Blondeshavemorefun

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/03/2026 17:42

Do you can join in with

Walsh sisters
woman of substance
Ellis
The capture

all on this week
