Amanda “I was a senior police officer with the Met” finding out her BFF Rachel is a traitor -priceless!

It's so funny that all these pp who have been recruited because of their top notch detective or strategic skills are proving to be utterly clueless!😂

SwedishEdith · 08/01/2026 21:35

I'd be really pissed off with Rachel if I was Jade. Rachel's self-important getting everyone together announcement is suggesting Amanda's Traitor nose was accurate. So they'll all be thinking about who Amanda kept targeting.

Amanda was a little more gracious in the after show but, God, how embarrassing for the her/the met to think she had some super skill and was above her own biases.

Unpopular opinion now but I still don't like Rachel and love that Fiona has gone rogue 😄

Hepzibar · 08/01/2026 21:35

Amanda “Jade was on my radar for no reason “. The state of policing 🙄

Tryingtokeepitreal · 08/01/2026 21:35

Rachel isn't a team player and Fiona got sick of it, I don't really blame her. I didn't like Rachel's 'joke' to Ross and the smug look afterwards. Stephen being stuck in between them is so funny

I was posting here earlier today about not being, for the first time, on the side of the Traitors. Mainly because it's been so disorganised and they didn't get into any sort of stride.

It's just occurred to me that at no point so far have they ever had a free choice of whom to murder. That's rather spoiling things [for me]. I like to hear their strategies etc in the turret and see how they pan out. I fear it's turning into a bit of a shitshow.

I liked the discussions as well.

It is but also gives others chance
to step in mid-way through and start steering the ship

Hope so. That's what's needed. Desperately.

That would be pot, kettle, black - Fiona is not remotely a team player, quite deliberately.

I suspect it will rebound on her but she will likely take the traitors down with her. I liked the idea of a ST but I agree with PPs - its taken away from the tower discussions. Possibly Fiona was just the wrong choice of traitor.

Delatron · 08/01/2026 21:39

Rachel’s staring down of Fiona at the end. Fiona actually looked slightly unnerved for the first time ever.

I agree. I'm surprised that there have been so many team Rachel posts.

Rachel was always out for herself and the way she gathered groups together for a grand announcement about the conversation with Amanda rather than revealing it quietly to Stephen and Fiona just emphasised that.

I'm surprised by the way that Fiona threw a hand grenade but it hasn't converted me to being a Rachel fan.

DontGoJasonWaterfalls · 08/01/2026 21:40

I like that they've brought in lots of people with big egos and titles - barristers, detectives, government workers etc - and the people who've come across as the most grounded are also the ones who've been bang on the money or close to it - Jessie the hair stylist, Reece the sweet shop worker and so on.

I think the casting team have done really well to play on people's preconceptions of how someone will get on based on their profession, and they've cast some fantastic egos in there too. It makes it so entertaining.

pasanda · 08/01/2026 21:40

Who was it that Rachel or Fiona asked to leave the room when Rachel told Fiona about Amanda? It was a man. Surely Rachel could get that person to confirm that the two of them wanted to chat in private. To help prove that she is, in fact, telling the truth and Fiona has got it totally wrong

I don’t think Fiona is a team player. Rachel and Stephen did discuss things and were working together. I felt that neither Rachel or Stephen were happy when Fiona revealed herself. She didn’t ‘fit’. As Maz said, Fiona wants to be in control, so both Rachel and Stephen knew she’d want the final say.

I think that was Rachel's intention - there would already be suspicion on Jade so amp it up, keep the heat off the actual traitors for another night.

Was it Faraaz? That crossed my mind also.

lettingthedaysgoby · 08/01/2026 21:16

So Fiona knew Maz was an ex-policeman - which is why she kept nominating him for murder

I think this is probable, I couldn't understand why Maz would be on there otherwise. Did Maz say that Fiona knew?

Me too. It was getting dull & the challenge bored me.

I’m with you. Fiona is more entertaining to me than Rachel and I like her. But I always prefer when there’s drama amongst the traitor group. No recruited traitor is going to trust either one of them so it’ll be interesting to see who they pick when one of them is banished and how they react to it.

cloudtreecarpet · 08/01/2026 21:45

It was hilarious how bad Amanda was at the game after all her being a senior detective stuff - she had no real theories at all to offer Maz when they met up!
She couldn't name anyone except Jade and she had no reason to offer for suspecting her.
I know we only see the edited version but Stephen has made some glaring slip ups that seem to go unnoticed and he looks either shifty or scared all the time!

His reaction to Fiona accusing Rachel was very OTT & I wonder if Jessie has picked up on that. I think she is the most perceptive one in there.

Ps does anyone else still say "Who's that again?" when Matthew comes on the screen?? It's taken us until ep 5 to remember his name in this house 😂

I did feel for Jade as she was sat right next to Rachel when she revealed that Amanda was this amazing detective..

Fair play on Jade for not saying anything and seeing how it will play out.

I think Rachel may have brought too much attention on to herself.

Rachel’s staring down of Fiona at the end. Fiona actually looked slightly unnerved for the first time ever.

It was such a piercing look that I’m suprised Fiona didn’t burst into flames! Stephen looked terrified - it’s all spun completely out of control for him.

needmorebooks · 08/01/2026 21:47

Why didn’t Rachel, when Fiona pulled her aside, say something like, shhhh I’m telling people so the heat goes on Jade and Sam! and let her into the gameplay??

Beachtastic · 08/01/2026 21:48

Ugh, Fiona is stupid and poisonous. Amanda was stupid and dogmatic. Both seem to enjoy throwing their weight around. A bit alarming to hear how solidly they identify with police work.

What made the Celebrity version so much more fun is that the contestants were intelligent and entertaining. It's much more enjoyable watching people challenged by a situation, and finding inner resources, than struggling to deal with fuckwits all around them.

Just wanted to give poor Reese a hug, bless him! I hope he's off the hook now!

ThePoshUns · 08/01/2026 21:49

There’s still 4 men that I can’t name or recognise each time they pop up.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 08/01/2026 21:50

Stephen's face stuck in the middle of those two is utterly priceless
I'm starting to wonder if he ends up making it to the end and winning despite all his blushing and sweating and guilty face
