Why bother defending Fiona in this task? She’s not going to be murdered so it’s pointless protesting

Are they missing the point?! It’s removing a shield = you could be murdered. Not stopping them being banished. Traitors can’t be mirdered so why does Stephen care about spearing Fiona?!

People can start to get suspicious of those surviving murder and traitors also like having shields themselves so there is a bigger pool of faithful to choose to murder.

Surely you want to spear suspected faithfuls, to save yourself? You know traitors are safe.

I'd say get used to him. Its the stupidest faithfuls who end up staying to the end unfortunately.

I don't think it's unconscious at all. I think they were careful to keep Traitors diverse in previous series and now people are expecting that and metagaming accordingly, they've changed the rule.
