The face on the lynx was frankly terrifying. I liked Bill's best.

I liked the pangolins or sharks best.

I loved the lynx's face.

yes, I feel that way about Siobhan too - it’s lovely how caring she is about the contestants, and how she swoops in for a pep talk if someone makes a mistake or has a wobble

I also didn’t think the lynx’s face was very good. I did love the rest of it though. Bill was my winner this week. I’ll miss Whitney. He seems like such a sweet guy, and I love his Hong Kong/Glasgow accent. He was probably the weakest one left though.
Going back to a previous week, I would absolutely buy Naveed’s avocado bookends for my cookbook shelf in my kitchen!

Ribboned plates, never seen one before!

Technically quite tricky but souvenirs as a task isn’t really grabbing me, apart from the mugs. I do love a nice mug

I’ve never seen a ribboned plate - recognise the tacky clogs and bells though

The bells will be interesting - any cracks and they won’t ring properly.

That is not how I would have made those 😅😅

Would you have hand built them with individual clay balls?

I would have thrown them in that shape to start with 😬

For the potters that is that 20 minutes a reasonable time?

Oh, so bringing the clay up and poking in to make the shapes? See, this is why I prefer to watch pottery rather than attempt it again

It would be enough if it was something you'd been doing for a while, trimming is quite quick (and one of the most satisfying things in pottery imo) but they've done well for a first time!

I’m very much enjoying that there is no obvious winner this series, it could be anyone’s.
