The first series of nail-biting thriller Red Eye - back in April
2024 - unfolded on an all-night flight from London to Beijing, as Detective Hana Li (Jing Lusi frantically tried to solve the mystery of passengers suddenly dying during the journey.

Now, as the second series begins, Hana's feet are firmly on the groun - but once again she finds herself thrust into a highly precarious situation.

After a diplomatic courier from the
USA is murdered at Heathrow Airport, Hana investigation leads her to bUS Embassy, where ambassador is hosting a party

There, an intruder shuts down the security system and begins killing people

This means Hana has to team up with a head of security clay played by MARTIN C with whom she shared the complicated past

They were partnered together a police training college, but Brody suddenly left without any explanation and now they’re working together

I fully confessed that I’ve binged. Two episodes the first night and we did four last night and stayed up until gone 1am.

Watched episodes 1 and 2. Excellent. So much better than the Night Manager

I’ve never seen night manager. I may have to watch s1 of that - it is it not good

I thought The Night Manager was ridiculous and daft, at C5 levels and beyond, and couldn't understand why it was taken seriously. So haven't bothered with S2. Just my view. 😀

Yes I agree Red Eye is far superior to the Night Manager. @Blondeshavemorefun the Night manger series 1 starts off with a hotel manger who is really a spy working for a U.K. agency. It stars Tom Hiddleston. Olivia Coleman and Hugh Laurie and is very good. Series 2 seems a bit lacking.

Watched 4 episodes so far, and if you ignore the holes it's pacy and exciting.

Series I was excellent. I've only seen 1st episode of series 2 and it's pants so far. I will stick with it as I find it difficult to stop watching a series even if it's rubbish.

Excellent episode. Trying hard not to binge, but loving that it's on tomorrow. Presume doors shut as he fires gun and Hanna doesn't get shot.
