The first series of nail-biting thriller Red Eye - back in April
2024 - unfolded on an all-night flight from London to Beijing, as Detective Hana Li (Jing Lusi frantically tried to solve the mystery of passengers suddenly dying during the journey.

Now, as the second series begins, Hana's feet are firmly on the groun - but once again she finds herself thrust into a highly precarious situation.

After a diplomatic courier from the
USA is murdered at Heathrow Airport, Hana investigation leads her to bUS Embassy, where ambassador is hosting a party

There, an intruder shuts down the security system and begins killing people

This means Hana has to team up with a head of security clay played by MARTIN C with whom she shared the complicated past

They were partnered together a police training college, but Brody suddenly left without any explanation and now they’re working together

Great series. Think I preferred it to the first series which felt a bit too stretched out, with all taking place on same flight. Glad that they found a way to bring Matt back too!

Loved it. Although it didn't feel as tense as S1 when it was a tiny cooped up plane when the embassy was massive.

I like her running. I feel she runs like I would if I could run.

She's strong.

There must have been more people than the defence secretary involved though as it was a complicated carry on. Plus he said he didn't have 'that sort of cash' to pay off Brody

Last ep was laugh out loud funny at times, but it's been great fun! Reminded me a bit of those WW2 films where wily Brits get the better of bungling and/or corrupt Yanks.

It was good. I binged the last two episodes as I had to find out how it ended. Great script, the acting was a bit wooden at times.

I enjoyed it but Hana's awful trousers were just the same with not a single mark on them after all she'd been through !

Place marking for when we finish S1 - though at the rate they are going in S1 the whole world will be dead and nobody left to be in S2.

Yes. I thought that at first, but twigged it later. Of course, when father and son first spoke in the concourse, we didn't know who Brody was.

Caught up. I liked it. I guessed plane man was a baddy. Trousers annoyed me too.

Trouble is, I can't decide if it's too far fetched to have all these dodgy people, or if I'm worried that it isn't far fetched at all...

Not watched all of it but I looked up where they filmed it and it was at the former HQ of Speedo!

Was anyone else thinking that that was a hell of a long party at the embassy? My feet and back would never have coped with standing around talking for that long, I'd have wanted to bugger off half way through.
