Very late to this thread and you’re all moving on but can I add my view. The so called experts should take responsibility for some appalling matches this series. The researchers obviously are looking for ‘personalities’ rather than people who seriously want to ‘find love’
It obviously makes it more interesting for viewers but the fact that everyone found Abi and John boring because they were genuinely in love speaks volumes.
it really isn’t an experiment unless you are just watching social interactions with strangers.

It wasn't really that re Abi and John, it's just that we learned nothing about them as people as all they did was spout vacuous platitudes at each other. So there was nothing to buy into.
