The trailer for the second series of The Night Manager has been released.

The first episode is set to air on 1 January 2026!

Anyone else can't wait for this? All the talk over the years about a second series and it's almost here!

And Series 3 has been given the greenlight, too.

Worth watching.

Agree it's worth watching and 'Hmm' was the exact noise I made when it ended.

We've just finished watching it and I've decided that these kinds of programmes are not for me. I'm not stupid but OH "gets" what's happening but I don't. I always have to stop and ask him who a person is or why they're doing somehing.

So, no third series for me 😅

I have mostly enjoyed it but found it quite hard to keep up.
not a patch on s1 though.

There's a lot going on in the last episode. I've had to press pause.

Teddy has grown on me, can't bear watching him in this episode. He was like Jesus in one scene which makes me think he's going to die.

I loved it. Episodes 3-6 were much better than 1&2. Can’t wait for season 3.

Oh my god. That was excellent! But I'm absolutely bawling about Teddy. He ended up being my favourite. Roper is such a psychopathic bastard.

How on earth can Myra get away with killing Rex, Basil and Angela? Series 3 must be all about Pine's revenge on Roper.

God don't know what to think. Very unsatisfying infuriating episode. Don't they know we always want the good guys to win in the end? Also no explanation as to how roper infiltrated their plan they've obviously not worked that out yet

I know... but DH did have to remind me that he had been a bit of shit which is true!

That was bleak. I really thought they were going to get him! I’m so disappointed. Do we know there will be a 3rd series? I’m not sure.

I don't understand when the stakes are so high and folk get bumped off left right and centre why Angela didn't have shit hot security.

Apparently a third series already underway. Series 3 predictions - Roper and Roxanna are together, Pine goes nuclear to avenge Angela, Teddy & Martin’s deaths and kills Roper. Pine turns Danny on Roper.

A friend said TH, HL & actor who plays Danny were filming in a carpark in Surrey last year. So either late scenes for series 2 which ended up on the cutting room floor or series 3 already in production.

Fuming about teddy but only because he’s grown on me so much and he’s gorgeous !

Danny's going fo be key in ROR's downfall in season 3, I'm calling it!
That was a difficult episode to follow tonight though. Going against the grain, I quite liked the bad guy winning.

she put it all in Ropers head to work it all out about Teddy

I am just so angry about the ending. I've just stomped upstairs to tell DH how furious I am!!

They might as well have lined up all the good people at the start and gunned them down. Would have saved 3 hours of my life. I know it’s kind of in keeping with old Le Carré’s cynical vision of power but fucking hell!

@ChopstickNovice me too! I AM SO CROSS! I hate the smug baddies winning. Poor Teddy, private investigator and Angela. (As well as poor old Basil.) Too many good guys down. Very very depressing. I feel too wound up to sleep! I’m not sure I have the capacity for another series.
