The red breakfast in S1 was the moment Traitors became an overnight phenomenon. So much drama! I thought S1 was lightning in a bottle that couldn't be recreated, and the novelty of it certainly was jaw-dropping at the time, but S2 offered a new spin, and while S3 doesn't seem to be anyone's favourite, producers tried to experiment and shake up the game a bit (arguably to its detriment!) Ultimately, it's all about having a strong likeable cast, and letting the game evolve. But nothing will compare to how astonishing it was to watch S1 live!
It'll be interesting to see Celebs S2 and compare it. I hope they cast as high-profile as they did here, and keep the same contestant quality. It reminds me of when Masked Singer debuted, which had a surprisingly great mix of celebs, but now it's kinda descended into one-hit-wonder adjacents not uncommon to the reality celeb fodder scene. So I hope producers will be as diligent about getting more big names involved.
