Surely only a be-aproned Kev can save us from the drug fiends? Die valiantly and all that. On Christmas Day.

Why am I so invested in Kev and Lewis ??!! 😅😅

bizzey · 14/11/2025 23:26

At least we know that Lewis will never ever get bullied ever again with ' Dad Kev ' in his corner !! 😅😅🤣

I’m down for it too 🤣

Oh I hope not

I don’t trust Emmerdale though. They kill off people who are popular with some viewers. Look what they did to Gerry Sad

JaneJeffer · 14/11/2025 23:58

Tonight’s Emmerdale narrator on Irish tv is Emma doing Trauma Room One, very apt!

Gerry!!! I'd forgotten poor Gerry!

RaraRachael · 15/11/2025 10:30

Gerry could have been a great character especially when you think of the dross that gets kept on nowadays.

strugglingwithlife · 15/11/2025 10:49

Oh yes, poor Gerry 😞 I liked him

Jitterybugs2 · 15/11/2025 13:31

I love the Waitrose ad. I had nodded off in the chair the other night and woke just as it was starting . Very confusing as I thought I was watching a new tv programme 😆 I really like Joe Wilkinson and enjoy everything he’s in. He looks very like a lovely boyfriend I had many moons ago ☺️

Clever Emmerdale!

We didn't like Kev at the start ,
now we are warming to him , he is starting to have a bromance with the doc ,

And he has a long lost son in the village
, who by coincidence was asking about his father at the start and wanting to know who he might be .

Can't wait for the Kev and Lewis scenes !

Think both actors could bounce off each other very good.

.

Edited

It's really not a bromance with Liam fgs. He's been threatening him.

bizzey · 15/11/2025 23:08

Sorry ,,I forgot my exclamation mark that I usually put everywhere in my posts !!

I was actually being sarcastic 😂!

bizzey · 16/11/2025 01:27

I still maintain that Kev thinks he has made a new best friend !!

JaneJeffer · 16/11/2025 12:42

He definitely does. He said “I just thought I’d keep you in the loop here what with us being friends and that” Grin

I think with Kev once he has got his threatening out of the way he likes chatting to people. It’s probably how he got by in prison.

The way he pulled out the chair in Aaron’s and sat down to chat about Robert while Aaron was rolling his eyes was so funny. Then he told Liam that Aaron had explained why Robert came back as if Aaron was a friend he can trust.

He ended up having a drink with Ross after the wing mirror stuff.

He’s so enjoyable to watch.

RaraRachael · 16/11/2025 13:50

I just can't make out a word Kev says.

Same here. I’ve had the subtitles on for Emmerdale in recents weeks as I was struggling to catch what Kev was saying.

RaraRachael · 16/11/2025 15:09

I'd probably have the subtitles on too if I knew how to do it 😄

I’ve got a Virgin tv box. I knew there was a mic in the remote that I could hold the button and speak into to change channels but I never use the feature . But the arrival of mumbling Kev made me try in vain to find the feckin subtitles. I’d given up and thought the next time the grandkids are here I’ll get them to show me. It was the unused mic button! Press, hold and say subtitles and they miraculously appear . If you happen to have Virgin tv check the remote for a mic icon 😂

JaneJeffer · 17/11/2025 18:50

Aargh @Jitterybugs2 I was wondering if that works with the Sky remote and now I can’t switch the bloody things off - although Māori being transcribed as mowery was a bit amusing. Help!

JaneJeffer · 17/11/2025 18:52

Ok I’ve found how to do it in settings phew

Jitterybugs2 · 17/11/2025 19:07

I just need to say into my remote subtitles off and they disappear again. I hate having them on but I miss most of what Kev says without them.

RaraRachael · 17/11/2025 19:08

I'm with Sky so will have a look to see if I can find the subtitles

I tried that but it didn’t understand me as these things often don’t!

bizzey · 17/11/2025 19:24

Ohh Gooddd !! 😅😅😂😂😂😂...

I now have an image of Jane quietly talking to her remote control , then getting a bit louder , then getting louder and a bit agitated...to fully finally exploding calling it a fecking useless piece of equipment and throwing it across the room. 😂😂😂😂😂!!

(Love you Jane ❤️❤️!! )

😂😂😂😂
