I love the Waitrose ad. I had nodded off in the chair the other night and woke just as it was starting . Very confusing as I thought I was watching a new tv programme 😆 I really like Joe Wilkinson and enjoy everything he’s in. He looks very like a lovely boyfriend I had many moons ago ☺️

I think with Kev once he has got his threatening out of the way he likes chatting to people. It’s probably how he got by in prison.

The way he pulled out the chair in Aaron’s and sat down to chat about Robert while Aaron was rolling his eyes was so funny. Then he told Liam that Aaron had explained why Robert came back as if Aaron was a friend he can trust.

He ended up having a drink with Ross after the wing mirror stuff.

He’s so enjoyable to watch.

Same here. I’ve had the subtitles on for Emmerdale in recents weeks as I was struggling to catch what Kev was saying.

I'd probably have the subtitles on too if I knew how to do it 😄

I’ve got a Virgin tv box. I knew there was a mic in the remote that I could hold the button and speak into to change channels but I never use the feature . But the arrival of mumbling Kev made me try in vain to find the feckin subtitles. I’d given up and thought the next time the grandkids are here I’ll get them to show me. It was the unused mic button! Press, hold and say subtitles and they miraculously appear . If you happen to have Virgin tv check the remote for a mic icon 😂

Aargh @Jitterybugs2 I was wondering if that works with the Sky remote and now I can’t switch the bloody things off - although Māori being transcribed as mowery was a bit amusing. Help!

Ok I’ve found how to do it in settings phew

I just need to say into my remote subtitles off and they disappear again. I hate having them on but I miss most of what Kev says without them.

I'm with Sky so will have a look to see if I can find the subtitles

I tried that but it didn’t understand me as these things often don’t!
