Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

@Winterflowers6 we must be up to the same bit because Sean and Roxy have just fallen into the icy pond!
And yes, the Tony and Whitney storyline was grim.
Great to see Bianca and Rickaaaaay and Janine (aka Judith Bernstein 😆) has just told Pat she is going to be bad, very very bad.

I'm a bit further on than that ..
It's very funny when Jane and Tanya are trying to get in the club for 80s night .
I'm loving the relationship between heather and Shirley, how she looks out for heather all the time ..you don't get that kind of pairing any more

NowNumber5 · 14/11/2025 16:41

Agree.
Hev n Shirl, and Gary and Minty are my favourite EE friendships - each pairing were so good together!
Jane and Tanya were good too, supportive of each other (Tanya's currently banged up for covering up Lauren running Max over).

I watch recorded episodes so that's why I'm behind you.
Work hours does not permit me to catch up sadly! One day...

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 14/11/2025 16:43

I agree, I liked some of the old friendships on EE, Bianca and Natalie, Pat and Peggy, Gary and Minty.

I am still in favour of an Ian and Priya friendship.

Winterflowers6 · 14/11/2025 16:48

When it got to the baby swap storyline..I stopped watching completely for about 5 years.. possibly more
I'd just had a baby myself and it was to upsetting at the time .
Now I'm glad I stopped watching as it will all be new to me to watch this time round.
There was a thread about old EE I used to post on ,then one day it had gone ,and I found this thread whilst looking for it 😃

NowNumber5 · 14/11/2025 16:54

Oh while I've got you here @Winterflowers6 I wonder if you know anything about this.
When Ronnie had her baby at 14, she named her Amy, who obviously went on to be adopted and became Danielle (who is currently bezzie mates with our Stacey)
So why did Roxy name her baby Amy too??
I am wondering if I missed a bit where this was talked about between the sisters, or not??
Just thought it was an odd choice for Roxy to make, because Ronnie was very emotional about being made to give up her baby by Archie.

Winterflowers6 · 14/11/2025 17:21

Roxy thought it would comfort Ronnie ,she thought it was a tribute, like she was getting Amy back for Ronnie
From what I remember,Roxie just announced it ,and I think Ronnie was quite shocked but tried to hide it .
I remember thinking it was an odd thing to do

NowNumber5 · 14/11/2025 17:35

Thank you.
I must've missed that bit then!
I was thinking of all the names you could've chosen Roxy!
She should have consulted the MN Baby names board (only to be told "Nobody owns a name" 😁)

Eastie77Returns · 14/11/2025 20:01

Who was the father of the baby Ronnie had at 14? They do seem to favour making women have babies extremely young or implausibly old on EE. I seem to remember she was also sexually abused by Archie😔

I cannot think of a single female character who has not been the victim of sexual or domestic abuse? Pauline Fowler came to mind, Arthur was lovely, but then I remembered her second husband killed her after hitting her on the head with a frying pan.

lazymum99 · 14/11/2025 20:50

Also I think Arthur had an affair at one stage

Southeastdweller · 14/11/2025 21:00

@Eastie77Returns Joel was Danielle’s father. He was in the show for a few months in 2009.

He did, with Mrs Hewitt. And Pauline hit him round the head with a frying pan.

Paulines 2nd husband Joe (played by the Best Voiced Actor in the World :Ray Brooks ) she threw him out , I remember watching him sitting there sadly in the pub.

I thought Pauline died after Sonia smacked her and she fell . She died on Christmas Day in the gardens , in the snow ( it always manages to snow in E20) with poor Betty whimpering beside her ( little dog)

Ooh it was a bit grim in the 1980s the Square was very run down .
Though the bonus back then was Mehmet ( who was the charming but sleazy brother of the useless hen pecked Ali Osman )

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/11/2025 00:53

Saw Cindy coming back , when she gets to her house ( her sons house ) and finds Jasmine in her bedroom, can she kill her send her packing ?

Shellingbynight · 15/11/2025 08:11

It is bizarre that we heard Jasmine was moving into Cindy's bedroom and since then we haven't seen her at all. And now Cindy's back so Jasmine is going to have move on. (Jasmine is my current pick for the Stalker.)

Alucard55 · 15/11/2025 08:49

I forgot about Jasmine. I wish we could fast forward this storyline.

the80sweregreat · 15/11/2025 09:12

We have all forgotten Jasmine as she is just a pointless character! She mumbled something cryptic when Nigel run her over and nothing much since. The note in the fruit was interesting, but it’s all off the boil now.

I think her and Oscar are back next week, but no idea what she’s up to.

Alucard55 · 15/11/2025 09:58

They do these cryptic suspicious faces and daft things like the fruit basket then you don't see the characters for weeks by which time you've forgotten all about said fruit basket and whatever that was about.

lazymum99 · 15/11/2025 10:21

The fruit basket that could have been left or thrown out at the hospital rather than chucked in the square.

After being carted back in a taxi.

crispycrust · 15/11/2025 10:45

The fruit bowl landing in the square is laughable. Whyyyyyyyy?

I thought Pauline died after Sonia smacked her and she fell . She died on Christmas Day in the gardens , in the snow ( it always manages to snow in E20) with poor Betty whimpering beside her ( little dog)

She did die after Sonia pushed her or something and so for a while everyone blamed Sonia. Then it was discovered that her death (haemorrhage) was actually due to an earlier blow to the head. I can’t remember how they found out Joe was the culprit.

I’m praying Jasmine’s time comes to and end soon but have a horrible feeling she will be around until Xmas at least. The only good thing is that she mainly interacts with Oscar and he manages to lift their scenes.

crispycrust · 15/11/2025 11:17

Oscar is presumably on annual leave. I notice characters disappear on holibobs after a few weeks of screen time.
