What really gets me about the ixperts is the forced teaming and perhaps intimacy of women with men they are never in a million years going to fancy as if it's all their fault. Sarah didn't come over well at the dinner party but bloody hell, Ixpert Paul could have called her out for the disrespect OK but he then essentially bullied her to tears with no holding Paul to account at all for being an annoying twat.
Having said that, Sarah should have written leave like Anita - why waste time.
All this supposed pairing based on 'values' - I know loads of people with similar values - good decent people - but I don't want to shag them. Why pair Crystal Tips who's scared of heights with someone who is into adrenalin sports?

I completely agree.

I get they want them to go outside of their ‘usual type’, but Dean is the complete opposite to her usual type. She clearly likes tall, tanned and tattooed. So they gave her short, overweight and pasty (with zero tattoos). I think what she wanted was, tall, tattooed AND nice. She got the self proclaimed nice guy but nothing even close to her other physical attractions.

Now the tattoos, yeah that’s the part that they could’ve scrapped. But surely they could’ve found someone that was somewhere a bit more in between what she usually goes for and Dean? Rather than someone who is about as far away as you can get, to what she’s attracted to.

Paul really went in on her to the point it felt a bit like bullying. Sure call her out, but that felt a bit OTT. Yet when men have been abusive on this show, he’s never gone in on them even half as hard!! It’s the double standards for me.

A lot depends on the person, I think. I know people his age or a little older/younger who've made big life changes, but they've been people who weren't set in their ways the way Paul appears to be. I get the feeling he wants everything in his life to stay essentially the same, just for a partner to magically appear and blend in seamlessly and expect very little effort. Maybe I'm doing him a disservice, but that's the impression I'm getting.

I also don't like the way he appears to bristle at any hint of criticism.

Yes I think this sounds right, especially Rebecca. I’m sure Anita is older but I know people around her age who look like her but also looks like she’s had work at some point around the brows so she could be older.
