I feel conflicted. Sarah was stitched up being matched with someone so far outside her comfort zone but she has handled it badly. Compared to Anita who has (I think) behaved very bravely.

The only thing that seems a shame with Anita is she moved out on night one. I'd say that was a bit premature.

But I can understand not wanting to be in close proximity to someone.e you find very annoying!

There are slightly more couples who are doing OK rather than are crashing! But it's still a very bad thing being so early on in the process and having 4 couples who are struggling already!

We saw a little snap shot of Steven and he is not what he first presented as. So with Nelly being so insecure I think they will join the failing side, along with poor Maeve being insecure. Fairly sure we will need an injection of new couples by next week!

It's baffling - surely they have lots of footage for each couple already. I definitely get the feeling there's stuff going on that's not being shown, especially given the comments some have made about things that have happened off camera. I know there are some things they can't show for privacy or other reasons, but even so.

The recaps at the beginning allowed me to finish watching bake off without missing anything on the couch, but as a rule, yes, we remember what they showed yesterday.....

I was thinking the same! I don't understand why so soon, some of them have stated outright that they're not ready for anything physical yet and I'd have thought this would make them feel pressured. I think it's going to make for cringey viewing too.

Sarah needs to do what Casper did... say Dean reminds her of her dad/brother/cousin/nephew and she couldn't get past that.

I can’t help but feel that they’re trying to push the intimacy week early, purely to push those who are lacking in physical attraction into trying to like their partner more, in the hopes they’ll stay in the show longer.

It all feels a bit “Shit! We’ve got several people who look like they’ll leave because we’ve given them partners they don’t like. Let’s make them do sexy time stuff to see if will change their mind a bit and stop them fucking off early and ruining the drama we want to create!”

I think the issue the ixperts are creating is because they’re coming at these people as if they’re actual couples.
People who have at one time chosen one another.
People who have previously been intimate.

They’re completely ignoring the fact that these people are complete strangers, with no previous experience of intimacy together who have not even chosen one another to be partnered with.

They’re skirting very closely to coercion with Sarah. Gaslighting her for not wanting to have a relationship with an obese and chronically annoying stranger. I hope she leaves soon because it’s making very uncomfortable viewing.
