Steven looks like he wants to stab someone. Surely even the experts can see from the look on his face that he's not just 'worried about his stepdad'.

Florencesndzebedee · 03/10/2025 10:16

Bailey is not an alpha male, he’s a wide boy. Most definitely not a Rebecca’s type.

Italiangreyhound · 03/10/2025 10:23

*StaySpicy based purely on what we see, he commented on 'looks grooming' twice and she bought him one thing. So, yes, not a big deal but I'm guessing she doesn't care what he wears. Where as I do think he is invested in perhaps turning her into Tomboy Barbie. *

Florencesndzebedee · 03/10/2025 10:37

How disappointing for Anita, Paul is definitely not a silver fox. He looks well over 60 and looks like he’s had a hard life. How on earth did the ‘ixperts’ think this was a good match!

JaneJeffer · 03/10/2025 10:39

slippingdowntheabyss · 03/10/2025 08:50

The ixperts are just puppets for this program. Its all about rating and the views. Notice how much you all go on about certain people. Then they will use against you all to watch next season. Stop watching and let then rating fall. But will you.
I know sometimes you want to sort of space out and watch useless stuff. But how is it really working for you in your life.

Well personally I only watch it for the craic on this thread 🤷🏻‍♀️

Eh? It’s an entertainment programme, nothing deeper. Perhaps this isn’t the thread for you?

I actually like Sarah & really hope her & Dean get there although I can't see it happening.
No, I hope they don't. He is taking joy in Sarah getting bashed and apologising over and over.
It isn't his body shape, his victim personality stinks.

I think he looks more youthful than Anita, he has a lot of energy, never stops yapping, his skin has a lot less wrinkles than Anita.
He's no silver fox but looks his age, 60's? I think?

The thing that got me about Grace was that she's annoyed at Ashley for commenting on what she wears, her nails etc. but she bought him a lilac (didn't look lilac to me) shirt! So she can buy him things to wear but he can't comment on her at all.

Or ‘lie-lack’ according to J-R 😄

Donttellempike · 03/10/2025 11:51

lunaswand · 03/10/2025 10:02

I think Grace has a horrible chip on her shoulder & just needs to see the good in some of what Ashley says although there looks to be a fair bit that we don't see that was spoken about at the dinner party

I actually like Sarah & really hope her & Dean get there although I can't see it happening

Why would you wish Dean on anyone? He’s horrible.

I believe the Z lister has made a tik tok about Steve tbis week saying he’s not a nice fella

Imagine being kind enough to give a rodent faced nobody a blowjob and have it spread about on national TV that you gave "sloppy head". I'd be making a necklace of his balls.

AtlasPine · 03/10/2025 12:03

Oh here’s a vulnerable young woman who has been cheated on three times and is eager to please. Let’s match her to a vile liar with horrendous temper.

Bailey agreeing with his assessment of everyone being cs in their man huddle. If you’re going to masquerade as an alpha male lad, grow a pair and tell him he’s the c.

My heart rate heightens when I see an adult male behave with that level of denial and loss of control. It makes me think of a few of the male teens I teach who haven’t yet mastered self-control and are angry at the world, the testosterone fuelled fights in town centres after midnight and the tragic stabbings which happen in my city. Men can be such dangerous weapons when they grow up without any self regulation of their big emotions.

Sarah isn’t a bad person at all. She could be a kinder rejector in this very public context but that isn’t dangerous. I bet she gets more flack than Stephen though. Dean just seems a bit inadequate. He should learn to love who he is.

Ashley might mean well but he does need to learn to really think about what it is he’s offering. A lovely surprise date - then tell her it’s a dressy occasion and let her choose her clothes based on that for goodness sake. If he still doesn’t think she dresses appropriately, he can note that in case she ever actually asks him what he thinks about her apparel - in the meantime, no comment needed . And I agree with her that he could have said - can I treat you to a manicure or some such wording.

Diverni should have stood up for LR when she asked him directly to confirm what they heard assuming it was true. Pathetic. All he had to say was - yeah you did say it. He could have added ‘mate’ if he wanted to signal his need to remain in the rather dubious male pack.

I really like Leah. And Leigh is beginning to show an emotionally intelligent side and a strong dose of courage after a bit of a weirdly hostile start. I hope these two get it together.

Davide and Keye are sweet as a couple so far. Fingers crossed they manage to maintain dignity whatever happens ahead. I feel Davide is either very uncomplicated or holding back a little though.

Is 'sloppy head' a bad thing? I thought it was a positive thing.... oops

FirstCuppa · 03/10/2025 12:53

I think from the way he was saying it he meant "bad" not literally sloppy - which yes, a lot of men seem to see as a good thing!

I don't at all. He loves performing and putting himself out there, with a Teflon skin as to its reception. He's faking vulnerability as it gets the ixperts and others on his side, and using his fatness to do it, as anyone who doesn't like him is immediately judged as to have decided that on his fatness, amd is therefore a villain, rather than on his awful personality.

AtlasPine · 03/10/2025 13:03

More thoughts.

I do wonder how much coaching goes on behind the scenes, for better or worse. When Nelly came back from Stephen’s loss of control with her assertive talk, it did sound a bit like someone had helped her rehearse it - another contestant perhaps if not a producer.

Biggest red flag for me was Stephen’s cold assertion that he hates anyone else’s involvement in his relationship - an abuser’s lament surely.

I think Joe could really help Maeve calm down a bit and both become moderate party people who stop when they’ve had enough and stay in control of what they do and say when they’re out for the night. Not that it’s his job as such of course.

I went out with a bloke a bit like Anita’s Paul years ago for a few dates in my 40s (I’m now in my 60s). He was possibly autistic. I don’t mind quirky foot-in-mouth men as long as they are good people - we had some fun and he was a surprisingly good lover. But ultimately men like this are damaged by machismo infested childhoods which value a type of proud emotional uselessness in the male. They seem to rejoice in their lack of ability to function on an emotional level - for example, Paul’s refusal to understand the value of him asking her a bit about herself, almost claiming moral superiority at his way of doing things (waiting for her to volunteer it while he talks about himself). He’s worked this out as his way and can’t see beyond that. My ‘Paul’ didn’t last long for me for very similar reasons which I didn’t feel I could live with forever.

He said at the start he is often told he is super confident, "too confident in fact" is how he put it. He is the main character whenever he can be and doesn't really care what other people think, as he keeps saying is why he put weight on and is so in everyone's faces with rapping/clapping etc. The "sad face" when they tell him Sarah is bad is the pity act to get the fame - he is always joking about being the fat guy and the first to talk about his weight, which is a manipulative trick to get edits of other people laughing, because we know he is that size on purpose - he told us it was to stop his nasty side and he could easily lose it if he wanted to.

Hard agree with this - my version of him, opted for Stonewalling if there was any hint of an argument or negative emotion and then used any upset that caused as further reason to pull away rather than talk it through. This was the same guy who never asked any questions and made me feel he was just imagining his exes head on my head because he never learnt MY favourite things and it got to the point I had to admit defeat. He said some of the right things and pretended to be deep but there was no actual care or connection there, just a "woman shaped person" he would happily bumble along with and not pay much mind to. Wasn't enough for me (esp with the stonewalling!).

I can see why Anita is keeping her distance, I'd want him to show some interest and prove he gave a crap too.

I'm not sure the post there actually shows much real remorse. I don't think he understands most people don't react to stress in such an explosive way.

You called everyone a C word!!! Can’t blame that on a poor edit

Should have deterred him from dropping the C-bomb and showing what an abusive arse he can be and probably was to their mum.

I can see him being the type to weave in and out of lanes on the M25 in a suped up BMW/AUDI, high as a kite on coke and then blaming everyone else for the pile up because he was in a rush to get somewhere and he has been blamed when it was actually the car not working properly

Are we talking about the same Dean? The fat victim, narc, with the most irritating personality ever and a voice that grates like nails on a blackboard. That Dean?

He's awful.

My sympathy firmly lies with Sarah being paired up with that fat narc twat and being coerced by a bunch of non-experts who are behaving like misogynistic bullies.
