Totally @browneyes77ND is too generous (& offensive to anyone ND)

murasaki · 02/10/2025 22:35

snemrose · 02/10/2025 22:30

Ah yes, she did say that. Poor woman.

Why does ixpert Paul dislike Sarah so much? His face gets angry when he is talking to her. Sarah looks like a deer in the headlights now - she doesn’t fancy Dean but is unable to say it.

I thought Crystal speaking up about Steven was good - I like Joe but didn’t like him asking Maeve to leave it about Steven - can’t believe no men stood up to him and called him out. They stayed schtum

Bros before hos, as Steven would say.

browneyes77 · 02/10/2025 22:18

Oh don’t you know?

People on social media have diagnosed him as being autistic now 🙄

Because his behaviour couldn’t possibly be that he’s just a dick. He’s obviously ND.

Honestly as someone who has an autistic nephew, I find it deeply offensive. My nephew is 10 and has more emotional intelligence than Paul.

Even if he were ND, she doesn't have to like him.

Pianoaholic · 02/10/2025 22:38

In the middle of watching this on catch up...May as well be one long bleep.
It's f c this and f c that from Steven!
Dinner party is as civilised as usual!

I completely agree.

I get they want them to go outside of their ‘usual type’, but Dean is the complete opposite to her usual type. She clearly likes tall, tanned and tattooed. So they gave her short, overweight and pasty (with zero tattoos). I think what she wanted was, tall, tattooed AND nice. She got the self proclaimed nice guy but nothing even close to her other physical attractions.

Now the tattoos, yeah that’s the part that they could’ve scrapped. But surely they could’ve found someone that was somewhere a bit more in between what she usually goes for and Dean? Rather than someone who is about as far away as you can get, to what she’s attracted to.

Paul really went in on her to the point it felt a bit like bullying. Sure call her out, but that felt a bit OTT. Yet when men have been abusive on this show, he’s never gone in on them even half as hard!! It’s the double standards for me.

The aussie ixpert John? does the same, always sticks up for the shitty men and tells the women it's all their fault. Can't stick him.

Crazymule · 02/10/2025 22:40

I think none of them speaking up is b’cos they’re all too afraid of harming their influencer dreams post show & of getting a bad edit (all except poor Sarah who’s cottoned on & now being crucified for it).

snemrose · 02/10/2025 22:40

I will probably get deleted for this comment and feel free to tell me I am wrong but what are the chances you fall in the shower and break a rib? I am not for one minute suggesting Steven physically had anything to do with it but if she is already living in an atmosphere and treading on egg shells then I can see how that might happen on your own in the shower because physically you are more shakey.
I am probably very very wrong but you know one of those thoughts in your head that you need to get down?

StaySpicy · 02/10/2025 22:42

I feel so bad for Sarah, feeling like she has to stay now and hold Dean's hand and cuddle and stuff when she clearly doesn't want to.

ETA: and he's clearly well up for it all and then she'll get ixpert shit for leading him on.

I wouldn't have thought for a fit looking woman of her age that it's very common. I've fallen once in the shower (which is over the bath) and only because the shower curtain rail slipped, i grabbed it, and mayhem ensued. Still only bruised my arse.

Honestly, every shitty relationship I’ve ever been in , people have always had nice things to say about the guys who are carrying out the crappy behaviour.
And when I’ve seen and heard abuse stories about other men towards women, there’s always a load of people saying well she gave as good as she got, or he’s always been lovely to me and so on.
it’s absolutely shocking to see so called relationship experts condone or excuse this crap, it’s no wonder we are such a fucked up species with all this misogyny, racism, ableism etc ‘trickling down’ from every so called authority in the land, from politicians, royals, medical experts, media, educators etc.
i know this is just a crappy mindless tv show but it is still heavily perpetuating this rhetoric that men are just trying their hardest and sweet best and that women are demanding harridans who are never satisfied .
everything is about division and keeping people in their place

@murasaki hope your mum is ok.

Yes, totally agree that being in the pub is not about being worried about a sick relative.

I’ve injured my ribs a few times from coughing with chest / lung infection, not saying this is what happened but there were those other guys too sick for dinner partay the other night. I hope it’s nothing more sinister.
i have been the one left at home sick and vulnerable while my (now) ex is off partying and living the literal high life , it hurts like hell.

Thank you. Dialysis forever , but at home and overnight, so dad just plugs her into the kit!

It is when you’re that kind of bloke. Every bad thing they do is linked back to a loved one supposedly sick or dying or some other massive event from the UK list of top ten stressors.

murasaki · 02/10/2025 22:59

If there was anything very seriously wrong with the step dad, should he exist Steven would be on compassionate leave for a few days that week, so we can safely assume he trod on a plug at worst, and more likely has a mild earache

Italiangreyhound · 02/10/2025 22:59

I do feel Ashley should back off with comments about nails and clothes. Grace has made it clear she doesn't need or want direction how to dress. My husband of 24 years has me er got me to getu nails done or wear a dress!

Dean is not the victim here!

Empress13 · 02/10/2025 23:00

They completely ignored what Sarah said she wanted. Admittedly she did say she wanted someone totally different from the bad boys she was used to but to give her someone so remotely different from who she is attracted to was unfair and now she’s paying the price with all the trolling and hate from the experts. Poor sod is even working herself up to give him a kiss when she clearly doesn’t want to lead him on unnecessarily. The experts should read between the lines and have gone easier on her. I truly hope Dean agrees to leave as well. And then you get bloody deluded Mel sticking up for that foul mouthed ticking timebomb Steven! Make it make sense ! Totally bonkers the show is a farce !

Italiangreyhound · 02/10/2025 23:01

Stephen is not give, give, give!!!

MooFroo · 02/10/2025 23:07

Poor Anita and Sarah!L and Nelly! Problem is if they all choose Leave then they lose their time on screen and change to become a a celeb after the show so they stay and take the shit!
Hope they get some emotional support and counselling during and after the shows - awful to watch!

if you didn’t fancy someone in real life after 2-3 weeks, you’d walk away! They should let them walk…

PollyDarton1 · 02/10/2025 23:12

Steven is a nasty little scrote. Met a bunch of them in my life and they are dangerous angry little men with chips on their shoulders. I get Nelly is distrustful and needy but it seems he’s completely done a 180 from honeymoon and she clearly had a right to flag it up.

If any man spoke to me the way Steven has spoken to various women now in the show he would be getting a tongue lashing from me and not in the form of a sloppy head. I really hope he gets booted out for aggressive behaviour but given the ixperts seem to be tolerating and even condoning his shit behaviour, I don’t hold out much hope.

Just caught up with tonight’s. Should I watch yesterday’s?

I’m loving the Leigh/Leah romcom

I don’t think any of them will stay together, even the ones who are getting on

I have broken ribs twice purely from being a clumsy arse. He may be a gobshite but I don’t think he had anything to do with it!

Definitely not suggesting he physically had anything to do with it.
