Mafs Thread 4-Dizzy Dez is not the best. Rapping Dean makes Sarah scream. Crystal tips has frozen nips. Experts are oblivious. Alphas are mysterious.

Fuck me, have they got Dean a new gig already?

It’s very funny. He did a rap and then asked her what her biggest turn offs on a date are and she said someone that raps 🤣

opencecilgee · 01/10/2025 22:29

Iceandfire92 · 01/10/2025 22:25

Every year they follow the same narrative. They pair up an overweight person with a slightly more overweight person. The slightly less overweight person believes they are more attractive than they are and are seemingly oblivious to the fact couples are paired up according to objective levels of attractiveness. The penny doesn't seem to drop that they have not been paired up with the tattooed hunk of a personal trainer or the duck-lipped OnlyFans model/influencer for a good reason.

The slightly less overweight person believes they are entitled to a person who is way more attractive than the person they are matched with. They proceed to verbalise (often after being repeatedly asked/pushed by their "partner") that they do not find their husband/wife attractive and that they would have preferred a slimmer match.

The slightly less overweight person will consequently be villified, given a terrible edit and will be berated by the "experts" and the general public. Larger person will be dejected and their self-confidence will be destroyed (not enough to become a low-level influencer). Rinse and repeat

Edited

sarah not overweight though. She’s slim and athletic

Experts should have watched that before letting Dean on the show at all.
Maybe they'd buy his CD but for most of us it's actually painful

Simplestars · 01/10/2025 22:32

Nelly will have a lucky escape.
What a temper he has.

opencecilgee · 01/10/2025 22:36

@Iceandfire92

how can you say overweight and slightly less overweight?

dean is obese and sarah is perfectly normal / healthy size

Simplestars · 01/10/2025 22:39

It's not DEAN'S weight.
It's his constant rapping.
He ALSO likes to play the victim too.

If he didn't rap and didn't do constant self pity he may be OK.

PollyDarton1 · 01/10/2025 22:39

I nearly cringed myself inside out when Dean said he shouldn’t stand up for a bit because Sarah was whipping his moobs. My vagina sealed itself shut and threw itself off a cliff.

I felt more sorry for Sarah before she started pretending that there is the smallest shred of a chance she’s going to come around to whacky Dean. She isn’t. Her face says it all. I probably wouldn’t have gossiped around the dinner party about how awful it was but realistically she didn’t say anything that bad or disrespectful (in fact, she made it clear he’s a lovely guy, just that she didn’t fancy him) and Paul is a shit for making her feel as if she’s committed some kind of grave error. She’s being given the villain edit - someone always does, and I suspect a lot of people were asking her questions that she was answering freely, but the edit makes it look like she was just mouthing off.

I fucking love Leah. Not my type but think she’s fab.

Thank god my spider senses about Steven (that he’s a fucking arsehole) are accurate. Nelly is needy and like I’ve said before I think she’d be like that irrespective of who she was partnered with but it seems she has just reason for being increasingly needy - if he’s given loads on honeymoon and is now pulling back (classic hot vs cold) then she’s going to feel rejected and concerned. I learnt a long time ago that fishing for compliments or needing reassurance when someone isn’t willing to give it is a hiding to nothing and not genuine. Thankfully he’s showing himself to be a total shit so hopefully she’ll realise it’s not all on her (although she does need therapy!)

LonelyMom123 · 01/10/2025 22:41

Steven reminds me of Jack Tweed, don't know if it's the voice but he set my spidey senses off straight away for that reason.

Simplestars · 01/10/2025 22:42

Steven definitely has anger issues possibly quite controlling and narcissist behaviour.

Needy Nelly needs to run.

I’m sorry but calling a woman a c**t is woefully unacceptable. He should be told to leave the experiment. Her parents must be worried sick. If she stays with him it won’t end well. There’s a reason he was beaten to a pulp! Feel a little bit sorry for Sarah tbh she doesn’t and will never fancy him end of. He should let her leave. It will only be a friendship. You can’t force sexual attraction

I thought he said 'they're all cunts' before storming off, meaning the group as a whole. Still, we'll see tomorrow.

Re...Dean in orange looks like he has stepped out of a 70s show. But I love him!

Really? I think he's a pass agg manipulative sexpest unfunny wanker.

Maybe he'll improve, but at the moment he knows he's winning, so why should he.

I misspoke! I meant Ashley*!!!

Empress13 · 01/10/2025 22:52

FirstCuppa · 01/10/2025 21:52

Those faces he pulls, grow up man!

He will no doubt be told he has so much patience and she is the wicked witch for suggesting he actually ask a single question or she won't waste her time.

Could you imagine Paul and Sarah together the gurning twosome 🤣

Ah, I did wonder! I like Ashley, he seems affable and non confrontational.

Which inevitably means he'll do something twattish in a fortnight or so, but for now, he's fine..

Thedevilhasfinallycaughtupwithhim · 01/10/2025 22:57

Dean is the love child of Ali G and Mr Tumble

Italiangreyhound · 01/10/2025 23:07

Have I just seen advert where gambling can win you a sausage roll. That is so sad!

I think the into acy challenge should come mich later in the process when they gave proved they an actually be in the same room together for 10 minutes.

The 'table of treats'' is very grim!

Leigh certainly does not say a lot of nice things. Or if she does she doesn't say it on camera!

If they had paid for that 'workshop' I think they would be asking for their money back!

The bit at the start when he was saying "you were going around disrespecting me all the time and saying all of those terrible things about me"
It's like we are watching a different show! I have to admit I've rewound it just to see her responses again to him "white knuckling the sofa" at her terrible behaviour. She does make me laugh - the bit at the start is priceless on this episode as she literally just looks like she's internally going "hmmm, right, yeah, really! That's interesting" all just with her face.

He said something like "usually I'd let it go, cos I'm a nice guy but now I'm like, no actually that really did hurt my feelins". I'd be buying him a Care Bear jumper if I were Sarah.
I really wonder if he is deluded with "I want my wife to say I'm funny!" does he actually think he is funny now too? The mind boggles.

I think I'm thinking too much about previous couples where there has been the exact same narrative- you're right she isn't overweight. However I feel that they were put together due to being evenly matched on objective levels of attractiveness. They haven't put Sarah with Steven (a shit he may be) nor Dean with Rebecca or Julia-Ruth.

murasaki · 01/10/2025 23:57

Now I don't find Steven facially attractive at all, he's rodenty. Dean has a much nicer face. Although the rest of him isn't attractive, including his personality.

Oh I agree. If Steven has called Nelly (or indeed any of the women) cunts then he’s a piece of shit that needs to go. I think he said it to the group as a whole, which doesn’t make it any better tbh.

Not a higher flyer finance person either he has portrayed.

He reminds me of a character out of Narnia.

Steven looks like a classic scooby doo villain.
