I totally agree that the experts are crazy saying that they want Sarah to be honest, but she was honest, just not saying everything.

I don't know if Paul is ignorant or ill.

Not asking any questions, forgetting stuff, having to write things on post it notes all over his house. My uncle had similar traits in his 60's, it turned out to be dementia.

Paul is so literal, hes like my DH I laughed so hard when he was asked about “will you fight for the marriage” and he straight away said “oh I don’t want us to fight” that’s a typical reply someone who doesn’t bloody listen to the whole sentence and would have been my DHs response.

My DH is ND and has some signs of early onset dementia. I do wish they had given her someone much younger, this guy isn’t relationship material he’s going to be very hard work.

I noticed last night and noticed that Dean has really small, feminine hands. That would put me right off tbh.

That’s the worse part. Poor Sarah is going to want to go and the format forces her to stay until dean gives up. It should change so if someone wants to leave 2 weeks running they can. What logic in forcing people to stay?

Honestly, he could stop rapping and get a hundred tattoos. she still wouldn't fancy him. The underlying reason is because he's fat and she probably feels embarrassed to be with him in front of the other women (and certainly in front of her friends). I don't see a problem with that actually, except that Caspar was vilified for it. So if the ixperts have already decided it's not a valid reason then you can't have it both ways.

Id have said to him 'Are you being deliberately obtuse or are you just really thick?'. I actually think he's mostly just trying to avoid talking about anything serious and isn't interested in getting close to her.

I remembered the pain of dating apps when they were on the honeymoon. She was saying 'you don't ask questions' and he was like 'just tell me'. Reminded me of the profiles where the man just says 'ask me anything you want to know' and is unable to even compose a few sentences about themselves. They won't put in any effort at all.

It's really not just the weight though is it? He is annoying as all hell, even his friends think so. It simply isn't attractive. There is nothing at all sexy about him because he is clearly playing a part. He rapped in their wedding and sang a song his mum knew the words to pretending he had made it for someone he just met that made out they had been in love forever...it's weird and creepy and not at all attractive. The fact he has chosen to be unhealthily overweight because otherwise his "nasty" side comes out doesn't help.

He seems weirdly disconnected from the whole process, almost like he's done it for a bet or something. It's surprising given he seemed really keen on Anita at the wedding. I've noticed he seems to bristle at any comment that even hints he isn't doing enough to get to know her. Definitely seems socially awkward in all sorts of ways.

I do think if Anita was attracted to him she'd probably be cutting him more slack, though. It must be very difficult to stick with it when she's not attracted to his looks or personality.

With the difficult marriages I do wonder how much isn't being shown in the edits. I get the impression there's more to the J-R/Divarni situation than we're seeing, too, given the level of tension between them.

No it isn't just the weight. But I still don't believe she would fancy him even if he wasn't super annoying. She wants a 'Joe' doesn't she, let's be honest. She wants a nice guy, who still looks like a bad boy, covered in tattoos and muscles.

I wonder if any of the women actually specified they didn't want a fat man? I can't imagine many fat men apply for a start, because why the hell would you? And since the show is primarily aimed at women, they seem to pick some fairly unremarkable women and pair them with 'fit' blokes. I mean Maeve and Joe are a prime example. It probably didn't even occur to Sarah that in asking for a 'nice' bloke she might get a nice 'fat' bloke, and now the ixperts can say 'well you should have been more specific'.

Or not... I bet she told them she wanted someone tall though, because they ALL want someone tall.

But like I said before, not finding someone attractive because they are fat is fine, except they've already set a precedent for this not being fine with Casper. It's certainly a lot more reasonable than JR deriding her fella for being short! Like, how does he address that?

And I'd love it if a man suggested a woman get a load of tattoos and lost weight, this place would explode. Controlling bastard, etc etc..

I think you are focusing on what you think is an issue, despite all the evidence showing it's his personality.

They all have a right not to fancy or get on with the person they are paired with but the show is disingenuous pairing people who are courting fame through showing "talents" off repeatedly while pretending they are also looking for love. It's not fair on the person they are paired with.

Sarah out of all of them has had the patience of a saint. She's not lied and her face can't hide her emotions but really the worst she has done is call him a Care Bear and joked that if he lost a bit of weight and got tattoos she "might" fancy him more but even that was said with a cringe face because she knows it's his obnoxious inability not to show off. You may think she's being rude by saying what he himself says about him being fat, but she's desperately trying not to slag off his actual personality.

Anyway the experts are going to tear her to shreds for finding him hard to put up with, they'll let Julia be upset at Dirvarni for less annoying behaviour and the whole fake show will continue. You'll get your female pound of flesh.

His behaviour makes her cringe and if he suddenly metamorphosed into a complete hunk she still wouldn’t fancy him.

I am probably going to regret this by next week but Davide and Keye should replace the experts. They are not pretending to not want mess together with some good advice.
