I don't think Samba and Paso should be week 1 dances.

3/4 are realistic scores for these guys at this point, it leaves room for improvement, and being mean to Craig for giving valid criticism and low scores is grating on my nerves a bit now.

If they were throwing out the high scores again like they did last year, people would be moaning about overmarking again.

La Voix for comedy alone & her clap back to Shirley was great! She can get away with reading them like only an old queen can. If you don’t know her from DragRace UK it might be lost on you how funny she is.
Just wish they’d be banned from the “Friends for life” (think it’s been rolled out already at the launch show) & “Doing this for my kids” are you hell it’s for the pay check & exposure - lines. Otherwise am loving it!

I don’t think there are many “lads lads lads”personalities in the group at least on first impressions - Lewis and George both seem quite sweet, Chris, Jimmy and Ross quite reserved.

I’m taking bets on Lewis getting a mid-series haircut a la Jay McGuiness.

Lewis George Jimmy and Amber are my top choices so far.

I thought he looked like a mini-Vernon as well!

Have just seen Nancy’s video on instagram where she talks about being so disappointed not to have a partner - 1) am surprised she’s been allowed to say it! and 2) I wonder how much notice pros get of whether they’ll have a partner or not for the series.

I don’t join in with the Tom Skinner hate. He’s done nothing wrong.

Anyway Karen to win

I do think Skinner would have fitted in better with the Wynne Evans/ Jamie Borthwick vibe of last year - it’sa shame we have to endure him this year in what seems like a more appealing group generally. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Chris performing as La Voix as I’m not normally a fan of drag acts but I liked his characterisation during the dance.

I’m glad Nancy didn’t get a partner. She’s WAY too over the top, much like Carlos.
all the pros are a bit extra yes, but these two just take it too far and it makes me end up not liking the couple as I can’t watch them.
if they just dialed it down abit and let the celebs shine then maybe they’d get picked more regularly.

Adored Karen. She has the makings of a winner. I enjoyed watching Harry, Lewis, George & La Voix.
Ross or Thomas to go first. Both stiff and stompy.

Tom will probably be out next Saturday, sorry Sunday !

I really like amber but the strictly Audience don’t tend to vote for confident younger women so think she’ll be in the bottom two a lot before the judges let her go!

Agree Nancy is like a Duracell bunny on steroids even when Clauds is interviewing them after their dances.

Karen, Alex (woefully undermarked) and Lewis for me tho it’s a little too early to say.

I thought Alex was under marked as well. Maybe she would have got higher scores if she’d gone later, or is Alex going to be this years ‘always undermarked’ contestant?

Expected to dislike La Voix as I hate drag, but actually quite liked him. As long as no one calls him she..............

Just wanted to add that it will be interesting to see how Karen fares with the slow dances me thinks she might be a one trick pony with her high energy but we shall see 🤞

Yes, we said this too. He's quite amusing and seems like a nice enough chap (from what we've been shown).

I love Nancy! I find her funny and tough and she looks so different in all the costumes/ make up. Carlos is an incredible dancer but maybe his facial expressions are a bit much. I think the new Australian is going to annoy me - too pleased with himself and cocky. Hope I'm wrong!

Yes I found him very likeable and feel like he’s a drag act in the old sense of the word and la voix is a character he plays rather than him wanting to be a woman. He is very quick witted.

Ellie has said in a few comments on her insta that she was just tired after a 14 hour day. That's definitely how it appeared to me when she was being comforted, she just looked wiped out.
