On my usual early morning wake up- I saw that Jasmine had beaten Coco. That's a good result for her, since her wins over her have both been on clay.

Shame for Andrey. There have been a few matches this week decided on doubles faults.

I thought the Sascha /Ben match would be closer- but Ben might be a bit worn out from playing so much recently . Sascha might be happy to be flying under the radar a bit- the focus is probably more on what Carlos and Jannik are up to. I'd almost forgotten he was still in it, after all the other seeds lost!

I was also awake during the night so I watched some of the match. Jasmine twisted her ankle and fell over. The physio was called and Jasmine was asking the umpire if they would tape it and saying she hates the tape. When the physio arrived Jasmine immediately told her that she hates the tape she managed to play on without it

Oh, that doesn't sound good Jane- I hope Jasmine's ankle is ok!

it was on the side with the knee elastic as well but she immediately plonked a bag of ice on it (not a sausage) so that probably helped

I'm confused (as usual) with the schedule of this tournament, as the women's semi final is tomorrow- so when is the final? Do they not get a day off before it? What is the point of the extended format then?
