In today’s episode, the police said there’s nothing they can do about Joel sharing Stacey’s pics, which in a real life context is rubbish because they could search on his laptop’s hard drive and browsing history. But I know it’s just a story device facilitate him staying on for a while longer and messing up more lives.

Joel told Tommy he was ‘ getting around ‘ being caught , is this the so called ‘ dark web’ ? I admit I didn’t really listen to what he was saying.
Stacey had deleted her account she said it still
shows up. Goes to show that once something is on there it’s there forever I suppose :(

I think it’s credible that Joel thinks he would never get caught (likely because he may have ‘permanently’ deleted the incriminating evidence) but once the police get hold of someone’s computer, that person is screwed.

Suki's handbag is a full time job. Lots of heavy lifting.
The police would be likely to minimise Stacey's concerns and thus enable Joel's behaviour.

South I agree surely the police would take it more seriously. I really wonder where they are going with this.

80s I wouldn't mind Vicki going too, as she's such a hypocrite. She was the one who paid off the tube victim.

It was glad to see Priya with Avani yesterday. I didn't believe Suki would treat Avani like that, it is an odd storyline. Balvinder was confirmed for Strictly yesterday, presumably this nonsense is to facilitate her exit.

I meant to say Amy's hot tub party was weird, the hot tub was full of inflatables and no one was in swimwear. And it was so tiny only one person could get in it anyway!

I think that Balvinder will do well at the dancing.
Maybe Suki will reconcile with Ash and go and visit her.

Today’s one was a bit random. I think that Ravi thought that Joel already knew Avani was pregnant?
It’s sad that Tommy is under Joel’s spell and getting into trouble again and that Okie has pulled a number on Kojo.
I guessed that the break in was a set up.
You’d have thought that Joel’s dad wouid have had a word with him afterwards after finding out that news, but nothing.
Priya had her two young and Ravi didn’t use protection either , but I guess it’s a case of do as I say with those two. Not that Joel is a good one etc etc , but they are all hypocrites when it comes to babies and pregnancies. I am glad that Eve did the right thing in the end though and now Suki is all alone.

Maybe Heather Pearce ( Eve) has to have some more time off and could be a bit of tweaking on the storyline front because it was such a bad idea all round.
At least they have shown that having this procedure isn’t without its worries and complications, but it was definitely the right thing to do in this case. Joel’s reaction was typical though , nothing to do with me :(
I hope that’s the end of it, but whete Joel is concerned it probably isn’t.

Ross’s (misguided) motives are believable but god only knows why Vicki is still with him and defending his shitbag son. Maybe they were going to explore Vicki’s background etc before Letitia Dean had to have another break.

Priya needs to beat suki up, sorry, thats the only way suki can be even slightly redeemed.

Spawned from the tawdry union with teenage Michelle and Den - her friend Sharon's dad.
Michelle: spawn of Pauline - not known for gentle parenting - and Arthur - who trashed the house on Xmas day during a bout of depression.
Pauline: spawn of Lou Beale who demanded Pauline - pregnant age 40 - abort Martin Fowler or get out of her house.
Vicky is horrible but has multi generational shit parenting so her behaviour - covering up for a sex offender -is believable and true to life.

But she was different about 20 years ago when she was in it before, a benign character bordering on bland, but my memory is a bit hazy.

American Vicky doesn't match current Vicky. But American pixie cut Vicky wasn't consistent with the family history so not especially believable.
Vicky 2025 version is horrible but true to life.

I remember Vicki as fairly objectionable last time round too, although that was partly because of the dire acting!

Apparently there’s a big row tomorrow with her and Joel so maybe she’ll finally tell him what a toerag he is.

Joel won't care what she says though - she's just a woman. I am not sure who could get through to him.

I'm surprised that kojo who had several meltdowns when he got to the square is apparently just fine with his life now

Edit, I thought that well spoken, cosmopolitan Vicki was far more believable- shes been around the world, shes not an eastender in the same way that kat is, but she speaks like her for some reason 😒

Gina and Harry are sweet, but I suppose she’ll find out eventually they are using Kojo and his nice flat for drug deals and so on and they will split up because he didn’t stop it.
I love the photo of H and Kojo on his wall. It’s just so lovely of them together, but it’s sad that H can’t stop all this!

This whole storyline has been really dangerous for teenage girls watching, no matter how theyre trying to spin it

If youre a teenager on this thread, (doubtful but you never know) avani's experiences aren't the only consequences of sex!!

Vulnerable people's homes are used by drugs gangs all the time, but it just seems so unrealistic, with his huge support network. Still, its eastenders

Harry tried to blackmail Gina at Christmas over the shoval / Cindy affair , now they are all lovey dovey.
They should do a foursome meet up for dinner with their mums and dads, but nobody really gets on..

The Eastenders producers etc probably know that teenagers and younger people don’t watch this show, but I agree it gave out a bad message with Avani.
