At least Avani will have the termination now.
It will still drag on I guess, but hopefully not for too long.
The drugs storyline with Kojo and H and Okie is horrible though.

I agree it is hard to find a storyline to care about at the moment. Suki is always watchable but it's a horrible storyline. It doesn't ring true to me and I can't see the point of it other than to undermine all the character progress Suki made in the past year,

I think the Joel storyline could be really interesting but I don't have any faith that it will unravel in the 'right' way because the storylining is so scattershot at the moment.

Ross doesn't need benefits, he's working at The Yard, and Vicki is working now too isn't she? Anyway Ross has plenty of £££ for new laptops...

I’m a bit depressed about the Joel story especially if he does end up killing someone ( or trying to) :(
I don’t understand why H doesn’t tell his mum and dad about this Okie and get them to see him off. His mum knows people and I’m sure they could ‘ sort it’
Phil would for one his own!
Suki is acting out of character and won’t be happy with Eve now. Nobody can be happy can they and they took ages to finally get together etc.

I had forgotten about the drugs storyline - probably the worst of all. Drugs storylines are always really tedious, and I couldn't care less about Harry.

So the restaurant is going to be closed down because Ravi hasn't paid HMRC. Don't they normally come to an arrangement where you can pay in increments? If they close down he has no income so unlikely to pay them anything at all. He should ask Auntie Suki for some money, she always seems to have plenty.

Poor Kojo , he only wanted his own place and some independence and now all this with Okie.
Sad really as I like him , but Harry can’t protect him forever.

You can pay the HMRC by instalments , but I suppose that won’t be an option for Ravi and someone else will take it over I suppose !
Might give Suki something to do now Avani isn’t handing her the baby.

I suspect that Suki and Eve will break up at least temporarily when Suki finds out she helped Avani.

I suppose Ravi thinks he can hand over a wodge of cash from his drug dealing to HMRC. I think they might raise a slight concern about money laundering...

Eve and Avani was well done today. Very sensitively done and I’m glad that her parents finally know.
However, the other story with Kojo and now Elaine getting involved was clunky and a bit amateurish.
I did like Nicola’s parting shot ‘ green isn’t your colour , babe’ quite funny.
She has the best lines 😆

Does Howie have the 6k now? I was a bit confused with what he said and did there with Oscar.

Surely the last thing HMRC want is to shut down your source of income. Paying a tax bill in instalments is quite common. (Obvs not in ee)

I agree that Harry should just tell Phil and he will sort out Ravi and Okie. Even though Phil doesn't particularly like Harry he will always come through for one of his own and particularly as the the Arches has been implicated.

I can't really be bothered with it all at moment though. I'm just watching on catch up every now and then and following this thread to find out what is happening.

Joel storyline is too depressing and I can't watch any more plots involving women being assaulted and demeaned but I'm glad they've at least got a good actor for the role.

Not just the lines but the way that Nicola delivers them.

I’m interested to see what happens now that Avani has had the abortion and Ravi and Priya know, not just that Avani was pregnant but they know Suki’s plans too.

I’m finding the Joel storyline really uncomfortable viewing.

Nicola does have comic timing doesn’t she!

Felt sorry for E Laine today.

All that going on with Patrick, but I don't think we have seen Chelsea at all in any of the Fox-Truman family scenes lately? Have the writers forgotten about her or is the actress on hols and they just can't be arsed to contrive an excuse for her absence, as she is so rarely on screen anyway? (When she is, it's to either tell an enquirer that she doesn't know where Nicola is, or for Nicola to order her to throw all the customers out of Harry's Barn and close up!)

I guess the Joel story is paving the way for a stacey exit?

Chelsea’s disappearance is weird. She must live alone now Felix and Bernie have gone and is a single parent with a few hours in the bar and nobody has mentioned her or Jordon who must be at school now, but obviously not at the moment!
I read that Zac goes for the Mr lister market job as well as honey.

The scene in the Arches yesterday was so weird. It was like a GCSE drama piece. I'm kind of glad though, as if it had been mire realistic it works c have been grim.

I did laugh at the scene where Elaine fell over, it was more like a part in a comedy sketch.

Despite the minimal screentime and awful storyline Kojo has, I do really like his scenes and hope he's sticking around. Although its looking unlikely as it says in next week's tv mag that Jack arrests him so I assume this is the start to it all unravelling in the wrong direction.

I'm glad the Suki/Avani situation is out in the open now and they've all left her. I think she's probably going to buy Ravi back onto her side by paying something to HMRC.

I am quite surprised with Tommy's quick change of attitude to what joel did to Stacey though. One minute he's all shifty and uncomfortable then the next he's joining in. I just don't understand what his role is supposed to be. I had first assumed that Tommy was planning to be a mole type and out everything he's doing but it's seeming more like he's slowly coming round to joining in. I don't really want to watch all this play out long term as so far its just showing what joel is doing is okay and has no consequences at all 🤢

You never see Suki at work anymore and Eve is only part time on the food stall , yet they seem to have money.
Would Eve have to have paid for this abortion for Avani?

I hope Kojo sticks around , but his storylines are grim.,
Not sure where it’s all heading.

Tommy is under Joel’s spell isn’t he.
Sad really as he was doing so well.

It’ll take a while , but I’m sure Joel will pay for his crimes eventually and end up in prison / dead/ moved away or something. I hope he takes dad with him if they move on, but I’d like Vicki to stay on. She isn’t as bad as they are, but it’s a low bar.

In today’s episode, the police said there’s nothing they can do about Joel sharing Stacey’s pics, which in a real life context is rubbish because they could search on his laptop’s hard drive and browsing history. But I know it’s just to facilitate him staying on for a while longer and messing up more lives.
